You have to paint them after you put them on. The light won’t penetrate the opaque nail with polish.

Does it work to paint them first and then apply the glue?

I tried that method in the first video, and unfortunately they don't last. It did work that first time but in this video you will see it wasn't working out. The light needs to hi the nail directly vs trying to pernitrate the nail through the gel polish layers. My nails last 3 to 4 weeks now. I suggest just using nail glue if you want to paint the nails first like a press on and then apply.

@@thislifewith_b Thanks for sharing. I am horrible at painting my nails. I would prefer to paint then use brush on nail glue to apply.

Your so very welcome. I completely understand. I have gotten a but better a painting my nails. But i still don't mind just gluing them on after painting if i need to.

They work I think you have to just use a stronger lamp for longer time.. cure for 2-3 minutes under a normal LED lamp

Well...I've heard that these gel tips actually shrink when you cure them and get harder.
