I own this set & I LOVE them. NEON COLORS are MY FAVORITE to wear on my nails, regardless of the season -Neon Green is my fav color. The Beetles brand has yet to disappoint me (I have aprox 8 sets currently).

thank god I found this video. Just tried the yellow on my fingers and was so disappointed. Forgot to wear white underneath and my fingers looked like I've been snacking on some curry dish. The curing isn't necessary is it...or does that bring out the neon colors more?

Neon yellow tends to be more translucent without the white base. Curing shouldn't really affect the color

With this set I think you can get away without the white, but usually with neons I would use white first for maximum color
