Beetles on my FIGS! What now?

I discovered some beetles crawling all over my figs. They're having a grand ole time eating them up, and there are a LOT of them! So, what are they? Can they destroy the tree? Are they dangerous? What should I do about these beetles on my figs?! We'll answer all that and more, so come check it out!

I think Celeste is one of the most commonly recommended varieties. But there are soooo many varieties out there 😊 A less common variety recommended with a strong berry flavor is Violette de Bordeaux.

Scary at first, but quite beautiful up close. As long as they don't fly at me, we're good 😆
