The guitar used by Sergio Dias in Os Mutantes was built by his brother! Dude was a genius, he even invented the circuit this fuzz was probably based on, the Regvlvs VIII.

Great opening tune, I love tropicalia stuff and you nailed the vibe. Fuzz sounds great! And i went the same way musically - Os Mutantes into the entire world of Brazilian music. So much incredible stuff.

Mudhoney got me into fuzz. I already had a Fuzz Face because who doesn't want to be Hendrix, but it never sounded right through my amp, so I rarely played it. Then I heard Mudhoney and I instantly knew how I was going to use fuzz from now on.
