You know I had a argument with a tear player about how toxic tear is and when I said it would turbo out floodgates he said quote “ no one really uses winda “ I have yet to see a tear player not turbo out floodgates but they call it “skill”

Im trying to figure out how that ra playsr wasnt able to summon his immortal phoenix. I dont think he was under any restrictions and the effect to summon back is mandatory amd was activated, but it didnt summon. That's wack

in order for it to make sense a card had to be in effect to avoid graveyard ressurections. probably an effect from one of the insects.

​@Cardlimits yea I was checking all the effects but none of them had anything to stop the summon. After some more investigation, I found out that he used the grave effect of ice barrier to get guardian slime to protect himself for a turn, but the grave effect has a lingering condition where it won't let you special summon any monsters except water monsters until the end of NEXT turn lol. Hence, mandatory effect of immortal phoenix to summon activated but could not resolve since the player was still under the water lock
