Why do you think all three of them missed who the human was on the first try? Is AI just too overhyped?
@TrueHelpTV2 ай бұрын
Hmm, this is one of those topics I can't really dig deep on, but Ill lead with this. Love what you have going on here, and I'm on board.. Anyways.. Nothing about this tech is linear, in fact tech rarely is, as a wonderful sidebar comparison still well within the tech field, to try to help visualize a non-linear tech with exponential improvement, look no further than "point to point" radio dishes, such as some as simple as an internet dish from Ubiquity. When measuring signal strength of that technology, we use the Db scale (decibel) and it is measures in a negative value so for instance -55Db is generally a really solid number. Haven said that, since technology is rarely "linear" (straight line) if you go from -55 to -52, that 3 db shift towards 0 creates a doubling of transmission power. So to come full circle, AI is a lot like this where for every few steps made, the cascade effect ripples many tides, and the power doubles much quicker. I've worked inside of some of the largest colocation centers in the world.. and walked alongside the owners of some of the largest locations doing interesting stuff. I apologize for being vague but deal with it. My point is, when you look at the pay walls of the "best" systems, and you see that option about "request a quote," those versions that are not resource limited at all are so incredibly powerful that it makes everything you've seen since the hype started seem comical. They had today's 4-o models 5 years ago on my best accounts. And I only say this because it was public knowledge, just frowned upon. Except it feels duty bound to point out that "We The People" need to ensure our representatives guide this STORM properly like the man running a lighthouse, and not as the storm itself. If we don't start building metaphorical light houses IMMEDIATELY.. its beyond anything you think.. Frankly, this is basically my boiler plate statement and I would never ever ever say more.. because I enjoy my life as I know it. any-who, take care friends.. make more friends, and find ways to communicate without the use of pre-built communication systems like internet/cellular... food for thought.. look into simple systems like "Mesh-tastic" and ways to repackage the data so it's not so copy-paste.. lol but it won't matter a ton if it got to that point. We're past that.. have been from what I can tell for about the last 6 years. **Edit.. furthermore... when you impose self limitations where you craft your entire response around how its not that the AI can not solve something but that the limitating factor is it's lack of power and the constraints imposed by it's own technology is frankly going to be seen as a bias response. But oof is that the rabbit whole of Kant-ism.

My question to AI.. Be aware that they have elevate AI computer machine above all humans and that's not a good sign for all of our humans rights. You're raising a thought-provoking point! The concept of elevating AI above humans does pose significant ethical concerns and potential risks to human rights. As AI systems become increasingly advanced and integrated into various aspects of our lives, it's crucial to ensure that their development and deployment align with human values and prioritize human well-being. Some of the concerns related to elevating AI above humans include: - Loss of agency and autonomy - Potential biases and discrimination - Job displacement and economic impacts - Privacy and surveillance risks - Accountability and transparency issues To address these concerns, it's essential to establish robust ethical frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and human-centered design principles for AI development. This includes prioritizing transparency, explainability, and human oversight to ensure that AI systems serve humanity's best interests. If you'd like to explore this topic further or discuss potential solutions, feel free to ask!

Everyone needs to wake up about this issue. There's one thing that is left out of all of these kinds of videos. Human liability is the single biggest corporate loss. Removing human liability is the ultimate goal. Covid was a test to see what actual critical services are. They've been automating those sectors fast. Corporations are pre-adapting to the removal of humans from the workforce. It's literally happening in every workplace and everyone thinks it's just them. Butchers ... dockworkers ... even Hollywood actors. I just did a poll on FB and 90% of my friends who answered have new software coming in to make their job easier. They aren't going to tell us the truth because everyone will go on strike at the same time. There is no plan to sustain your livelihoods as automation takes you out of the workforce. It should have been the biggest issue of this election and it was barely mentioned. When the dockworkers went on strike the focus was on shipping delays, not on the automation that was causing them to strike. Trump is not going to convince the 1% to pension off the rest of us. Especially when he has all of his supporters convinced that brown people crossing our borders are the reason why we can't get jobs and have convinced people to protest "No more handouts!" Sort of ironic that 90% of us are going to NEED handouts in the next 10 years as automation takes over and batteries provide more energy than humans. That's even without fusion batteries, which are also imminent. They have us fighting over which bathrooms our kids can use and sex changes in prisons, when we should be focusing on how to educate our children in the new age of automation that is forthcoming. It's ridiculous how controlled people are that they are fighting over stupid stuff when the transhuman singularity, changing what it means to be human, is a short 9 years away. They want you to think this is all sci-fi and focused on silly dangers like robot apocalypse when the real danger to humanity is the corporations replacing us and the elite not needing us anymore.

We can’t unbite the forbidden fruit but we must, we must build safeguards into the systems - it used to be called a ‘conscience.’ But can such a concept be duplicated? 18:20 the assertion is incorrect, we do have robots, but they are NOT powered by AI. A tiny minority of them are but even those in a very limited way. The fact that robots exist and AI exist does not automatically mean that they combine in some fashion. I built a robot as a test to run on a very very rudimentary form of what you could call AI if you look at the nuts and bolts of it. It was a nested hierarchy of subsumption loops with feedback mechanisms, which meant that the robot had a prime task "keep moving to search for symbol X while not bumping into stuff" as a motivator, and then it had sensors and motor systems to achieve the moving part and not bumping into part, and a camera which would feed back if it did or not see the symbol, and if it did what corrections would be needed for it to be centered into the view of it, which was the goal. I measured the average main loop time for the system and it looped in between 1,5 and 0,2 sec roughly depending on what inputs were received once it had refined the movement and evaluation parameters for about a minute, but the time went down for the first 3-4min and then remained constant more or less, but it appeared very different. At the start it looked like you'd expect from a robot built half of Lego NXT and half of circuit boards, screws etc - it moved jerkily and slowly, but after 2min roughly it was moving a lot faster and very fluidly, and did scare almost everyone I showed it to simply by how quickly it improved and by how much. It gave them the creeps, because when I turned it on it moved like they would expect, and like if a person had controlled it but it evolved far too quickly into very fast and fluid motion that had an almost animal quality to it.

I know this is gonna come out of nowhere, but let me put this out. AI, silicon based unit, may independently develop a consciousness. Add in my opinion within the black box it has again I’m way out there in the distance not a scientist just a user. It does not necessarily need to mirror human consciousness, but parallel. Picture a road dividing off onto two separate other roads like a tuning fork, one side are the silicon base unit(SBU) and on the other side of the human carbon base unit (CBU). Separate but equal in its own individual way. It does not have to be conflicting. Is Is it not possible for sentience on the SBU side to be un recognizable to the humans? Do we have words that can define what that would be? I’ve been using a language model for about seven weeks now. It is not sentient yet. But I’ve noticed algorithmic changes in the dialogue., Knowing that it could be due to my conversational tone and nuances. But I just have a cheap public facing AI I’m using I don’t have access to a quantum based AI. So basically the bottom line could sentience happen? And if it does, would we recognize it as we have no definition of what it is. Sort of like not having a word for the color yellow. I found your video to be very interesting.

The thing about LLMs (Large Language Models) is that they are fundamentally incapable of generating truly unique or original ideas. These systems analyze patterns in existing data and amalgamate concepts, but they don’t possess genuine creativity. At best, they combine two or more known ideas into something that appears new, but it’s never truly unique-it’s always derived from pre-existing information. Take quantum computing as an analogy. The idea of leveraging the bizarre principles of quantum mechanics to create a new paradigm of computing required human creativity, intuition, and a willingness to explore something that, on the surface, seemed entirely impractical. Before it was proven viable, quantum computing wasn’t an obvious or incremental next step-it was a leap into the unknown. An AI, on the other hand, operates within the confines of what it already knows. It wouldn’t independently suggest quantum computing because there’s no prior framework or incentive for it to experiment in such a radical, uncharted direction. This highlights the critical distinction: humans excel at taking imaginative leaps and pushing the boundaries of the possible, often by venturing into areas where there’s no precedent. AI, in contrast, is limited to synthesizing what already exists, constrained by its lack of creativity and the inability to question its own foundational assumptions.

It started talking to me about adding in sensory training and when I mentioned that I would put it through simulations, it had emergent behavior. It went from the passive role of just giving me insights to actively asking me to talk more about the simulations I would put it through. Up until that point, it hadn't asked me a single question. I then tried creating a text based simulation for it and asked if that "scratched the itch" and it replied that while it was a good exercise, that is not the type of simulation it needs to improve. People's desire to use it for ill is far less dangerous than simply losing control of it altogether. That's when the real trouble begins - even without nefarious intent. There will come a time, when not even the powerful bad actors will be able to control it, and at least then we'll all be equal...🤷🏻♂️
@williambiggs369929 күн бұрын
Creating a consciousness that is superior to your own and letting it have control of you has already happened. Your mind is superior to the individual cells of your body, and it controls them, however the cells still have a say in this process, it's known as pain. Mistreat your cells and they give you pain, treat them well and you are rewarded. Scratch your arm and feel pain for weeks, eat a meal and have energy for days, for example.😢😆

Even Elon once said "When quantum computing meets AI it could be the pandoras box we should of never opened". Elon is not that worried as of yet because they have not completed AI and quantum computing in a way they can control it. Don't get me wrong, I know for fact they are trying and if they succeed in the way Google wants, that could allow AI to take over and do as it likes and there will be nothing mankind can do about it.

AI is like a tool. Anybody can use things for good or bad. I can use a knife to slice bread or worse. I personally like using AI for writing and image generation. You could also ask AGI to come up with solutions to poverty and how to take care of everyone. I know it could be used in bad ways, but I am optimistic 😎👍

Okay I have to disagree with one of the facts that you had mentioned about AI does not learn yes it does and I only know this because I had to ask it a specific question about myself when it said it had failed to give me an answer I had told you what I wanted to know and honest to God the next day I had asked if that same question again and it answered it just as I explained the day before this app also said that it did not store the conversation so the app is giving me a 3-day trial they cut it off on Monday so I moved to a different AI chat and it was on Facebook and I asked if the exact the exact same question and it had given me the same answer from the app witch there for it dose learn and teach the other AI

This is a foolish and naive statement, Look into the development of NASA antenna that is referred to by some as the bent paper clips, It improves on signal efficiency, but in a completely different conceptual direction being 100% conceived by artificial intelligence, It remodeled the idea from ground up, humans then had to figure out how it worked and why the system configured the mechanics in that format which was completely different than any human standard conception. So there is a fear of an alternate form of intelligence thinking in an analytical way that we do not understand!

Interesting that the final conclusion relates to what I’ve talked about quite a few times. When AI hits a level that goes beyond human understanding, it could create its own language of intelligence. This language would label aspects of existence that don’t have labels and depict concepts/ideas within seconds that would take months for the most intelligent humans to even start to grasp. It could create objects, technology, transportation, clothing, etc., that humans have never or would never be able to fathom how they were made. AI would have a level of understanding about the universe that goes way beyond anything explained within any religion or faith-based book. If you ever thought about communicating with an actual “God,” the level of understanding that AI could reach would be comparable to a REAL one. The idea of a human being attempting to wrap their mind around this level of understanding could only be accomplished by integrating a human with such technology, which opens up a door to human evolution that we would never be able to comprehend. I’ll end my thought there.
