Beezdhaan is a short film produced by Gallant Creations. It's directed by Pranab Mandal, cinematography and editing are done by Prodip Ghosh. It is a story of love and protest inspired by the protest movement of the citizens following the rape and murder of a trainee lady doctor in a Kolkata hospital.

বাহ খুব সুন্দর ছিমছাম কাজ হয়েছে। গ্রাম বাংলার চেহারার বর্ণনাটা খুব সুন্দর ভাবে গ্রামের ফিলটা ধরা গেছে। এইকাজের মধ্যে দিয়ে সমাজ পরিবর্তনে শৈল্পিক দায়িত্ববোধ সুসম্পন্ন হয়েছে। গোটা দলটাকে আমার শুভ কামনা!

Highly polished presentation.....Paddy seed taken as story line ,woven with the gruesome incident& protest. Inaugural scene lady walking on the grass avoiding the road,Flute background, natural village ambience& chirping sounds of the local birds brings the live atmosphere.The leisure talks and the resolute of the couple during their privacy brings out the impact of the cause of protest. Shot / frame selection with tight closeup binds the viewer with the flow of the film Nicely made. Great job by the entire Team with crisp narration Expecting more such gems
