celeste ahouma Basically a high carb diet burns fat faster. You MUST exercise daily for this to work, carbs burn faster than fat, but if they aren't burned they will metabolize into sugar, which you don't want. She eats a carb plant based diet, I have been doing the same thing and have also lost about 30lbs so far. I do suggest keeping track of your vitamin intake as well, it forced me to eat more greens and helped with the weight loss :)
@geealexandra65367 жыл бұрын
you really should ask a doctor first, after getting your blood test results. a high carb diet is not ideal, because you have to keep it going. the results are not permanent, rather accompanied by the diet itself. but more importantly, potatoes are potentially dangerous. all root vegetables should be approached with caution, but especially for *potatoes* you need to make sure you have no metabolic issues. starch is dangerous if you have insuline problems. before jumping into a very specific diet, you should make sure you won't be ruining your health instead. (like what happened to her with the bananas, which was more than expectable. same actually applies to potatoes. they're great cleansers for detox, and you can lose over a kg in 2 days by detoxing, but it's not sustainable.)

If this was true I'd be thin. I eat an average of 800 calories a day sometimes easily less, I also dont eat every day. I chase a 3 old around the park every day. I am definitely burning more calories then I eat.

I'm now 22 and sadly have gained 20 kilos back and am feeling so awful about myself. I gained all this weight while starting a vegan diet last year and just to know that I'm not alone, really helps. I'm starting to figure out what's right for me and my body and your video's are inspiring me to do that. I suddenly feel super inspired and motivated to feel happy and healthy again, thank you, I hope that I can come back to you soon and really thank you. Bless you x

Hi HCH !!! 3 years ago I stopped eating meat thanks to Freele's videos but I kept putting on weight eating RawTill4 style, when I found your channel It was such a relief to know that you had the same struggles and by eating vegan you can heal yourself but in your own unique way and it does not take many many years to do it. I admire your strength, but most of all being so open about not having perfect days and making mistakes. I cried with you when in one of your videos you talked openly about losing yourself and going to your old ways of eating, I also cheered for you when it all came together and you were able to see results of your vegan lifestyle. I was so happy for you to find the love of your life and most of all I just freaking love to see your dogs and the love for the animals that you have. So today I thank you for being just a human so that when I have a bad day I know it will be ok, we all make mistakes. Thanks to you and your channel it is easier to do what is right when not many support you when you need it the most. Wish you all the best. Sending lots of love ❤️💚💙

I have insulin resistance though and I really don't know where to start, as my doctor says I need to be on a low carb diet yet everyone I see that is plant based says the best diet is high carb. Maybe I should add in that even though I have insulin resistance I am not prediabetic.. yet. I'm on metformin but other than that I don't know much about insulin resistance, I try doing research and asking my doctor questions but I never get answers.

At your age honestly if you just take up a sport that will help you drop the weight. I was the same height and weight as you when I was in high school and I joined Soccer and Swimming! Soccer toned me up like there was no tomorrow (legs of steel) and because I was in sports they put me in weight lifting for PE and I became even more toned. And swimming is where i lost MOST of my weight, the full body exercise and learning how to control my breathing made running so much easier so after practice i still went for a jog around my house, while at the same time hanging out with friends kept me going and made it a lot of fun so it doesnt even feel like chore. It wasnt till i went shopping after some time that I realized i lost a shit ton of weight. I went from a Large (im top heavy) to a S/M (could have been a Small but again...top heavy lol) Thats the best advice i can give you, also dont waist time stressing over it and dont stop excercising even after high school. Thats one thing i regret the most after graduating, I didnt keep up my active lifestyle so i just started gaining weight rapidly and now Im at 230, on a diet and my goal weight is 170! lol

I had the same issue, everyone told me I had to calorie restrict in order to lose weight. I have been eating starch-based for 3 months now and started to run once a week (because I wanted to get fitter) and now I have lost 10 pounds. I eat high carb, low fat, but I have been adding some good fats into my diet lately and I am still losing weight. The key for me was to really listen to my body. Only when I am hungry, I will eat. And it doesn't matter how much food there is left on my plate, if I am full, I'm full and I'll stop eating. I've struggled with my weight my whole life, and now I finally found a lifestyle that works for me and I am sure it will work for you too!

Calories are always going to matter. Like she said in her video, she was eating 3000 calories a day and gaining weight. The difference is, you can eat a lot more plant based WHOLE foods while still keeping calories lower because they're less calorie dense than meat and dairy. Whole plant foods, especially organic, aren't going to give you cancer, they will prevent it. Unless everyone in your life is a respected nutritionist and/or doctor, don't let them do your thinking for you. Look at the research (paying attention to who funded it) for yourself. Educate and arm yourself with the knowledge and confidence and do what is right for YOUR body.
@samanthataylor62848 жыл бұрын
I'm 5'0 and I did gain weight when I was too low fat and always hungry, eating 3000 calories a day. Now I eat more fats (like 12-20%) and it's allowed me to feel satiated on 1600-2000 cals a day and I'm losing about a lb a week right now with no exercise (I used to exercise regularly but I'm just giving myself a break for the time being).

callmecristal everyone is different ! If this works for you go for it ! Mean while I'm on low carb and high fat and meat which works for me ! I couldn't do carbs and go vegan and I had many years of acne it disappeared too with low carb , sugar spikes your insulin so it can trigger cancer because cancer cells feeds off sugar according to many research supporting this , but then again you can get cancer from many things

The 3 Most Common Dieting Mistakes Women Make A woman on a diet has many suitors. The weight loss world is full of companies and self-appointed experts competing for her attention, often spreading misinformation and making impossible promises. It’s so predictable. They just want to get into her….pocketbook. If you’re a woman struggling with weight loss, there’s a good chance you have heard some unreliable information, causing you to make a mistake or two. Just a bit of misinformation can make weight loss seem like a code to crack. It doesn’t need to be as complicated as it seems. By learning these mistakes, you can quickly unlock your potential and get back to getting results. Let’s look at four need-to-know weight loss mistakes. Starvation Diets If 1400 calories is good, 1000 must be better, right? Wrong. Your body needs fuel to burn fat properly. As strange as it may sound, if you cut your calories back too far, your body will actually begin conserving its store of fat. Think about wild animals in winter. When they eat less and less each day, the body gets “worried” and prepares itself for continued scarcity of food. Your body is the same. Too little food, and it will preserve its energy stores (i.e. fat) as long as possible. You may experience initial success, but it will quickly plateau. You want to use a moderate calorie deficit, like the one detailed in the 2 Week Diet plan. This plan ensures your metabolism stays highly active for optimized fat loss. Overdoing Cardio Training If there’s one mistake that most women tend to always make, it’s spending hours on cardio machines. While some smart cardio training (such as sprint training) can be beneficial for fat loss, there’s no need to chain yourself to the treadmill, bike, or elliptical. In fact, doing so can do more harm than good. Alternatively, what you need is an easy-to-follow weight training program that focuses on key lifts that make you stronger. Check out The 2 Week Diet workout program if you need assistance in this area. This program will streamline the top calorie burning exercises that firm and tone your body while helping you drop fat quickly. Overcomplicating The Process Finally, the last big mistake that many women fall prey to is overcomplicated programs. Diet plans with a million rules and regulations only lead to confusion, demotivation, and eventually giving up. Simplicity is best. A few smart, easy-to-follow guidelines are most effective for superior results. Fat loss isn’t rocket science. It boils down to fueling your body with the right food choices and amount of energy. That encourages the body to burn fat cells for energy. For a complete breakdown, consider using The 2 Week Diet plan, which has produced amazing results for thousands without making you feel like you need a Ph.D. in nutrition to succeed. If you see yourself making any of these mistakes, then forgive yourself, make a change, and get on track to a healthier, more energetic future. leran more Here }}} bit.ly/2lrwTcx #diet #lossweight #fastwaytolossweight #dietsupplement #lossweightforwomen

@daesunghitandrun7 жыл бұрын
Basically it all boils down to calories in vs calories out, burn more than you take in. you can start by finding out your TDEE (there are many online calculators) and eat a little less than that, and make sure you measure out your portions and keep track of the calories youre consuming (my fitness pal is a great app for this) and you can also start excersizing more to burn fat and build muscle. it also doesnt have to be drastic, you can start with little changes, such as drinking water instead of soda when you go out, or chewing gum and drinking water instead of mindless grazing in your fridge. keep in mind it takes a 500 calorie daily deficit to lose 1lb a week, and for the most part healthy weight loss is about 1-2lbs a week(if youre aleady obese you might lose more than that at first, so dont freak out just yet) Although in practice its simple but its mostly a mental battle, especially for someone like myself who has lost 50lbs and still needs to lose another 40lbs to be a healthy weight, I'm always battling my brain that tells me i need a 4th slice of pizza or a whole family size bag of chips. But in the end lifelong health and happiness is better than short term pleasure of stuffing food in your face

A lot of it has to do with getting off the couch everyday be active and second is cooking from scratch - meat and veggies. Eat fruit as a snack. I've always eaten this way but it was when I started baking cakes I gained bigtime after baby 2. So I cut out the baking did Zumba everyday to make up for the activity and boom back to normal. It's a lifestyle not instant dieting or exercising just to lose weight it's something you incorporate everyday into your life

It is just about give us your money and buy our products or try this diet but in the end mother nature gives us the best products ever. Great channel, I will look more into your recepies ^^

i never had trouble losing weight. i was never skinny, more of average. when i switched to plant-based at 28, i got skinny! now, i'm 34 and i am having trouble losing baby weight (this is baby #7 and i've never had trouble losing baby weight prior to being 30). it's hard fixing meals for everyone with the mindset of losing weight for me but wanting my children to grow (more fats). i have gotten SOOOO many ideas from you. our favorite meals are HCH meals ('chicken' sandwich, veggie balls, oven fries, the list goes on)! i think i'm going to do the potato cleanse. you made it look so 'do-able'! anyway, thx for everything! :D

Got here via your comment/response on Handeemans channel. Your transformation is just amazing. You have proved that it is quite possible to quit bad habits and steer them in a more positive direction. Your story is inspirational. Hopefully, it will get others with habits they want to change, to get in front of the mirror and have a serious talk to themselves, and listen to it!

Angela B The natural causes of cellulite are the way fat cells and tissue cells are stored under your skin! I have had cellulite all my life and have been of healthy condition for my age and stature but the cellulite is still there... None the less, some is caused by the hereditary way your body is made up and it can also be onset by excess weight. Just know that cellulite is a natural part of the human body and doesn't reveal if someone is over weight, unhealthy, or doesn't take care of themselves... We all have lumps and bumps in every shape and size!

I'm five ft 7 last time I weighed myself the scale was 267. In the past 6 months I started exercising daily, changed my eating habits as well. I look a lot smaller now but I'm afraid to get on the scale. The scale shouldn't scare me ...but truth is it does . I hate putting in all the work and losing very little weight . So I threw my scale out and just workout daily and eat healthy, I'm making better choices now. Watching the video I really like your honesty and that you embraced yourself completely. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to step on the scale and knowingly I worked so hard to see the results on the scale . I went from a size 20 to a size 12, some 14s . I've never been a size 6 as an adult. But I realize change takes some of us time. Thanks for the inspiration

lemurian chick It will produce more muscle, which muscle will help burn fat, there is a diffrence between weight loss and fat loss. being thin with weight loss is skinny fat, but with the help of weights and a good protein, fat, carb diet you will lose the fat surrounding your muscle which in turn now shows your physique etc...

Hello, back in may I used to eat a lot and one day I found out that a single tube of pringles has 1000 calories in, and I used to eat these along with breaky/lunch/dindins. Realizing the error in my ways I weighed myself and was 112.5kg. Fancy fad diets never worked for me like slimmingworld, paleo or weightwatchers. So I went onto one of those calorie calculators and the one on calculator.net would say how many calories I would need to eat to gain/maintain/lose weight. It would say I'd need to eat like 3000 calories a day and with no exercise this just wasn't great. I was like nah too slow, so since may I have been in a major calorie deficit of 1000 calories a day and I feel great. I will admit to having a few momentary lapses but I'm now 85kg so happy days :D. I exercise, at work I'm fine and energetic and get by happily with 1 meal a day. Can't wait til 26th October as red dead redemption 2 comes out and I'm treating myself to a takeaway :D I'm a guy and don't really talk about it so thought i'd share with you lot :)

I used to deal with that too. But if you start increasing your activity and reduce what you eat gradually you will still reach your goals. You will always have enablers around. You just have to be strong and push for yourself. Don’t get carried away and not eat, but even in families that eat poorly you can still find balance.

@srnjaxmiller2797 жыл бұрын
Miray Khan (first, sorry for bad english i will try my best to explain) the point of my diet is what's work for you. i started diet on april (my weight 80kg) and i follow diet 1000 cal/day. but only do this for about 8 days because this is not good if you do this more than 2 weeks. our metabolism will work slowly bcs our body will think we starve so body keeps fat to keep survive. 1st week 🐰 morning : - 35gr instant oatmeal or 1 banana - 2 boiled eggs (only eat 1 egg yolk) 🐰 day - 2 - 4 tbs rice - 1 portion meat/chicken/other protein - 1 portion veggies - low fat or non fat milk 🐰 night - low fat/non fat milk - 1 portion meat/chicken/other protein source - 17 gr instant oatmeal / 1 banana / 2 slice grain bread (if you still hungry, if not, don't eat) point : don't eat frying food, keeps oil as little as possible next week keeps eating around 1000 cal - 1200 cal, eat more protein (meat/chicken or other protein source) here, i'm doing exercise cardio 30 minutes 3-5 times/week next week eat about 1400 cal -here i had so many parties so even i ate about 1400 cal, but mostly not healthy food like frying food etc but keep it around 1400 cal. - exercise around 30-40 minutes 🐰 last 1 month - i'm tired eating healthy, i'm busy to cook my food everyday (my family has slim body so they're like eating everythings, cooking unhealthy foods) so i eat like kfc, frying food, much carbos, but keeps high protein like i said above, i ate about almost 1700 cal/day (which is my BMR) or more than 2000 cal, surprisingly i still keeps lost weight - and i think it was because doing exercise 3 times/weeks include cardio and bodyweight lift my metabolism got faster now i try go back eating as healthy as possible but slowly, change bad eating habit is not easy, it takes time and the most important is always be happy with what methode that you choose! sorry if its too long 😊

I’m 13, and I have been struggling with weight, for the last 3 years maybe. My highest weight ever was 263, I felt terrible, it just made me feel uncomfortable and gross. I wasn’t like the other kids and in sports and stuff. I tried doing things to help me, but it didn’t work. I exercised BUT I didn’t eat right. Like at all, I had pop and chips and candy, it helped cope with depression I guess. But my depression only got worse as time grew. So right now I am currently dieting and eating right and exercising frequently and I’ve had SO much more energy, I can run around my block almost fully without being out of breath. I’ve so far lost 40 pounds and am about 220 pounds, that is still a lot, but I am working on it this is in the last 5 months so just go at your own pace and find what fits you the best. For me, it was just being myself. Doing what I want, besides binge eating ofc, but I am going at my own pace and finding my strengths and what I want to do, so there is hope for you! Good luck on your weight loss journey

@rockstarr87866 жыл бұрын
fantaist it's not Western beauty, nor is it a beauty standard of any area, its biology. No she's not "mad" curvy, but she's a woman; a woman that went from the shape of a potato to slimming down to the real natural shape of her body. You can see her waist and hips and chest. Ya she's white, ya she's slim, no she's not Beyoncé, but that doesn't take away from her great accomplishment and being proud of the body that God gave her. I myself am a woman of mixed race and have an extremely curvy figure, but I'm not gonna rip on this girl's body because she has a different shape. She has womanly curves that you can see now from her weight loss. It's ridiculous that someone compliments her and then everyone has to jump in negatively. I refuse to support that. She has a beautiful womanly shape and I'm proud of her success. All women are beautiful in their many shapes and sizes... That's my piece, now I'm done.

Cherrie Zhou do not worry about gaining mussels. it is VERY dificult to gain mussels even for Profesional athletes. if you lift weights you get a nice firm mussel tone with out growing mussels.

I also don't want to gain muscles. It's not I'm afraid to gain, it's I naturally have a lot of muscles as a woman and those muscle are filled with fat so it's hard to look slim when I lost weight, and my legs looks unaestheticly strong and short. I've always struggled to make my legs look slimmer but it's really difficult. I've been to specialists and get my data measured, they said that my percentage of muscle naturally is higher than other as a woman but I also have a normal percentage of fat. It's the muscle that makes me look chubby

this is late, but do a lot of reps with very low weight. so like 30 arm curls but only with like a 10 lb weight. Building muscle mass is usually achieved through doing a few reps but with high amounts of weight.
