So glad I did it in January before Covid. I am 54 and I also had lower bleph and browlift done at the same time. Finally I look as young as I feel! The results look so natural. I only told I few close friends and no one else even suspected anything. It’s expensive but worth it. The experience wasn’t bad. Didn’t hurt at all and very little swelling and bruising. I also lost over 10 pounds before the surgery from intermittent fasting. So I am having so much fun buying new clothes for the young looking me!

I love the story of the woman who was dissapointed with her third facelift so the surgeon asked her to sit and close her eyes and invited in his collegues to guess the womans age. They guessed about 40, she was in fact 70. When she opened her eyes they answered 70+ . There comes a time when you age is in your eyes not on your skin.

Not gonna lie, I am kind of upset that society sees aging as something bad, or something that should be hidden. If these procedures help you feel more confident and better about yourself, go for it! But we should never forget that aging is normal, and that "perfection" doesn't exist, so there is no use in becoming obsessed with our looks and trying to change everything about us. In my opinion, if you go for plastic surgery, do it for YOU, not for others. Love yourself no matter what you look like, you deserve it.

this is a big cope from you. you dont understand its not just culture, its evolutionary mechanism.for both sexes, as youth means fertility and beauty means good genes. that's why these are strong indicators of being attractive. it will never change, not in a million years. even if u educate people and indoctrinate them to think aging is beautiful, they'll still be physically attracted to younger, beautiful people. you cant win with nature. and is it so hard for you to understand that people want to feel attractive? even if someone thinks he does this for themselves, in the end, we still do it to alter how others perceive us.

I’m one of those people whose immune systems don’t like the body being cut into (I experience lots of inflammation & scarring), so I’m probably not going to get anything done. I been enjoying your videos since recently having one recommended by KZbin. You've a very gentle way of speaking and the videos are very interesting. What I'm going to say below isn't criticizing anyone but just pointing out what some young people need to know so maybe they can take better care of their bodies. If young people have sagging skin they're not eating nutrient rich food, smoking, allowing doctors to give them medications that are toxic, drinking too much alcohol, using drugs, in the sun too much, eating too much salty food and not enough potassium rich food, not getting enough sleep, are around scents and other toxic things that off gas toxic chemicals that disrupt the endocrine system, and-or have lost a lot of weight that leaves most people with a lot of sagging skin. Face lifts don't last when people continue doing any or a lot of that. It's best to take care of the body instead of indulging in what damages it and getting a facelift every 5-10 or a bit more years. If this reads as being harsh, it's not meant to be. I just know there's so much that can damage the body and skin can start showing that while still young. With so much pollution, now, and so many medications with toxic chemicals in them being prescribed, many of which don't need to be, and also polluted food, it's difficult not to be exposed to what damages bodies.
@LorryHill3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I’m not young and got my facelift at an age appropriate time. Nowhere is it recommended to get a facelift every 5-10 years (way too early to redo)
@eshqa3 жыл бұрын
@@LorryHill maybe I should've explained that I wasn't referring to you. You were talking about people now getting face lifts younger. That's what I was responding to. As to the 5-10 years, I also feel that's way too early to redo. I've just seen some women's skin starting to sag some years after a facelift and then it's tight again. Anyway.... it's nice that you're informing people about different procedures and also revealing when there's lying about not having had anything done though there has been. I like that you're honest. 👌
@heavenknows48574 жыл бұрын
It is not just the sun that may contribute to sagging skin but also gaining weight. If one looses weight and does some type of exercise like walking, your skin will firm up. Also having good posture may help too. By the way, most of the patients that got a facelift looked good afterwards.

Lorry, this is a great video but I am slightly confused. By getting a facelift at a younger age, from what age on are you referring to? I am 26 and just myself wondering. I know the aging process starts around your 20s but there is usually very little sagging of skin in most people until their late 30s (depending on your genetics you might still have minimal drooping in your mid 40s). Most visible signs of natural aging in our 20s and 30s come from loss of facial fat/volume. Don't you consider your 20s and 30s to be too early/unnecessary for a facelift?

I started getting face peels in my later thirties. I got so many compliments on my skin. It brightened and tightened. They are great for your 30's/40's. Would you recommend a blepharplasty before a facelift. I have a consult with Dr. Passau. Next month. Right now can only afford one or the other
@LorryHill3 жыл бұрын
They are completely different price ranges; unless the blepharoplasty is a medical necessity (skin going in your eyes) I would get the facelift but truly go watch my facelift video first; (both linked below my comment) different recovery and a completely different price range. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHKug5yNeLF8fNU kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmLQdmWJj654oMU

I am 34 and I would totally consider getting one. I microneedle and use acid peels but there is only so much that can be done to tighten girl! I would love for you to post a video on thermage and radio frequency procedures if you have ever gotten any treatments! Loved the video

Megan Ramirez Hi Megan! Thank you so much !Have you seen any improvement with micro-needling ? I have been wanting to try that for the last year but can’t seem to find the right person. I’m fascinated with Thermage and have been looking into the claims of it leading to fat loss in the face; part of me wonders if I should do it just for my lower face though. I haven’t tried RF yet but have been hearing buzz about it!
@rosalagun26782 жыл бұрын
I’m 33 and I’m getting MACS lift in few months. So exited. Everyone seems to think I’m crazy, but my surgeon agreed that I have loose facial muscles and it’s a good idea to do it now if I want to look like my age next 15-20 years. Not trying to look any younger, just my age. People always say to me that I look really tired and I eat healthy, lift weights 4 times a week and take care of myself. I hope this will make me look more alive and less tired.
@aurelien.9587 Жыл бұрын
Please watch the videos of Dr Amir Karam regarding the thermage and RF treatments. NEVER EVER use them, it will ruin your face, actually the heat generated by these new generation machines melts the precious fat on the deep tissus of your face which make you look young. The sign of aging is caused my volume lost. Fat=volume=young looking. Many surgeons are warning about these techniques such as Morpheus and others who are accelerating aging signs! These free surgery procedures is a waste of money, when the skin is sagging, there is no miracle, you have to go for a surgery. it is better to save money and get a facelift with fat injection. This is permanent and the result is amazing.

If they take out quite a bit of skin in a mini facelift procedure...will it last longer in your opinion Lorry? The dr I’m going to get this done with removes quit a bit of skin & tightens one muscle in his mini face lift procedure.

I think some facelifts make people look like their cheek is dead. Like they don't move naturally actually like people struggle to move their face when speaking. I would do one but I'm scared of ending up like that. I'm 40 and would also like to know at what age are facelifts recommended.

Hi Gabriela; thank you so much ! You know I should probably do a video about procedures recommend to those who are younger. Something really really simple is to use a sunscreen everyday (regardless of the weather) even in the car. Reapply every 2-3 hours. Never sunbathe without an umbrella. 90% of all visible aging is due to the sun!!

I had a Smas face lift at 38yrs upper and lower eyes lipo under chin never regreted it no pain easy recovery , was amazing at 52 had another lift with a different doctor badly done and lots of fat injected which i didn't want i looked ok for a few years till the fat in my face moved downwards and gave me a pear shaped face pulling my face down resulting in and caused Malar eye swelling that op was horrific i could not open my eyes at all after the op and i actually thought i was dead and they forgot to put a drain and had to do an emergency op the next day .........Now at 60 i am going to fix it have another face and neck upper and lower eye procedure this will be the last one so it has to be perfect !! but i will NOT be having any fat injected no way and doctors have told me they dont't do that procedure anymore anyway my first face lift was so much better and so much easier . But very true so many people wait till 60+ and the result is minimal doing it young gets fabulous results not to look younger but fresher and then doing the second or third the result is good too but a first face lift at 50/60 not so good .
@christinevillanueva542 жыл бұрын
Everyone different, you got yours young, but that's ok. Most 38 year olds still look good, I know I did at 38. Late 40's when I started seeing big changes in my face. Can't make generalizations, each face different, genetics plays big part.
