Markus, propsus admirabile! I had expected a sizable improvement after the change but definitely not so much of a striking (no pun intended ) difference. With the old hammers, the instrument didn't sound quite like what one would expect from a Bluthner but now ... wow. Thanks for the show.

When you get Bluthners in, they always seem to be those without the aliquot system, Bluthner's raison d'être. Is there a reason for this?

Thank you for your question. Actually, we get both types but don't really choose one above the other as in our opinion and that of most technicians we know, the Aliquot system doesn't make much difference. Marcus
