Hope you kept those 1980 FXWG forward controls. Rarer than rocking horse shit. Love the transformation also.

Nice man... definitely an improvement! Not much beats a harley that's been put on a diet and slimmed down...
@ChucksCycles3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I liked it before but I also like it now, thats whats fun about bikes, you can change them as much as you want.
@jtmarshall3 жыл бұрын
@@ChucksCycles honestly I did like it before too but other then the paint it looked too stock.. Now your gonna have a hard to finding a bike that looks just like it while out riding

It seems futbrake swing should be modified a little also, and it will be nothing more to say...

Where can I find that rear brake/peg set up? Beautiful swingarm chop Chuck. I’m enjoying all of your videos!

The Wagner Lockheed rear master cylinder does look better than the Kelsey Hayes original. Nice touch, and nice bike.
@ChucksCycles3 жыл бұрын
Yes, unless I'm restoring a bike to original, the wagner setup is the way to go!

What back fender is that? The struts look very similar to what comes with the Lowbrow rogue fender... But the fender itself looks different? Or did you just chop that rogue fender?
@artvandelay92012 жыл бұрын
That looks sick! what length are the shocks and did you use a different length after changing the fender struts?
@ChucksCycles2 жыл бұрын
No, I just put the fender close to the tire when i drilled the holes. But not too close so the tire wont rub.

Nice! Bike looks awesome! Did you use the lowbrow fender struts and your original rear fender? Looks great!

Now you have a bar hopper because you're not going very far with that small gas tank but it's a nice looking bike

Great job! Do you have any experience taking apart a Deuce front end?
@ChucksCycles3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what that is.

Total cost to do this? Looks real good.
@ChucksCycles2 жыл бұрын
I had a lot of the parts in stock but id say around $600 - $700 in parts if you had to buy them.

An FLH front fender, Road King tins on the front end, 16" apes, and some 10-in FLH rear shocks would have made this bike look nice instead of a chopper looking bike. Would have definitely taken the value up some.
