Before buying Bumble Bee Goby, watch this video

Find out if these tiny, beautiful and intriguing fish are meant for you.
I kept them in 100% fresh water but as they grow older, they will require brackish water to thrive. I will put them in the same category as pea puffers. Infact I was looking for pea puffer and ended up buying these fishes.
Pros:
1) These fishes are adorable. They hover around like helicoptor and attaches itself to the walls of your tank like a pleco fish.
2) They remain very small. Max around 4 cm and hence can be easily kept in a small tank around 7 to 10 g
Cons:
1) They are like beta fishes. Very aggressive towards each other and quite docile towards other fishes. I have seen my mosquito fishes, half its size, chase it around. This means if you have a smaller tank and less hiding spaces, do not keep more than one male. Ideal number would be one male to 3 females
2) This is a deal breaker or maker. They are very picky eaters and would require live and frozen foods. In my experience, they thrive on mysis shrimps
They exhibits sexual dimorphism. Males are darker in colour and slender. Females are lighter in colour and plumpier.

There is 7 or so species of bumble bee goby and one of them does really well in fresh water. And people have said they are able to repashy bug grub- its a gell food you mix. You feed the repashy gel food- with a eyedropper- squirt it in so it sort of moves.

@@a4fishsingapore305 I used to have bumble be gobies as a kid. But right not I just have a betta fish but am thinking about getting some bumble bee gobies again. I'm trying to do more research this time. I'm in New Zealand so bumble bee gobies I can get here might be different.
