But most say the poly is more impact resistant and the TPU is more shock absorbing. For me I don't know what that means with regards to the protection of the phone in the instance of a drop. Get a Hard plastic case. When dropped plastic cases has its own structure to absorb the impact. Rubber type cases doesn't have any structure to itself hence will use the structure of your phone to deliver impact when dropped. I'm Using a hard plastic case. Dropped my phone from a moving motorcycle bounces on the metal road. No cracked screen, just scratches
