I was actually ‘shocked’ that he calls him Hyung bc Hyeongjun was born in november 2002 and Taeyoung January 2003, so Taeyoung is actually ‘the same age’ as the 02 liners bc he was born so early, but it also depends if his parents let him attend school with the 02 liners or not. For example Daehwi he’s born in 2001 but ‘friends’ with 00 liner, JB (got7) born in 1994, ‘friends’ with 93 liners same with Kai (Exo), Chani (SF9) born in 2000 but ‘friends’ with the 99 liners and there are many more and that’s all bc they’re all born in January and that’s due to their lunar calender and bc the Korean schoolyear begins in March, it’s always like this unless the older person chooses to not to use this method, and that may be bc they didn’t go to school with the people born the year before or bc the older just doesn’t want to (or if you’re a foreiger) so actually Taeyoung shouldn’t have to call Hyeongjun and Minhee ‘hyung’ edit: and ‘friends’ means being considered ‘the same age’ so you don’t have to use formalities with each other or call hyung
