Thats interesting I grew up in Wallsend and my Grandparents lived on the site of Segedunum. Our idea of foreigness was anything south of the river , West of Hexham or North of Alnwick !

Cheers for that mate.I saw you just now in a great chat with my Irish matey on Medieval Talk.Good stuff.Being Aussie but of British,Scandinavian and Irish stock could you please do more on the British and Irish clans of old and i loved how you spoke of the Attacotti and said they were Irish.Some stuff on them would be great too.Ta.

Hello Wayne! Really glad you enjoyed the podcast! The current series I am doing is prehistoric until the 2nd of October where I will launch a new series. So until them I am going from the stone age to the Iron Age in North East England. I think you'll still enjoy it a lot though!
