Mark 10 11. Most of the scripture about divorce talk to marriage permanence. So when you get to matthew 19 9 you have to wonder why there is an exception. And why fornication and adultery are used in the same sentence. And why throughout the bible lists fornication and adultery as two separate sins throughout the bible. To use .matthew as an exception contradicts the rest of scripture. It's the teaching about marriage us why people always say Christians divorce and remmarry. We have no standards.

18:54 to the unmarried meaning never been married. Virgins. If you are bound in marriage do not seek to be loosed. If you are loosed do not seek to be married. Says a lot. Do not divorce and if you're not married do not get married. Unless ypu are a widow ir virgin. Whenever the bible talks about remmaried it sas its adultery. Ypu can twist cherrypick scripture to fir ypur narrative. But if you do ypu are making Gods word contradict itself. 27:22 everywhere the bible talks about divorce it calls it adultery. Nothing about remarriage

The only thing that clears up all the confusion is marriage permanence. The confusion of if I divorced for unbiblical reasons. The confusion about is it ok to remmarry. The contradiction brought up if Matthew 19 vs mark 10 11 and luke 16 18 . The in your face contradiction of paul saying wives do not leave husband's do not divorce. If you do remain single or reconcile. Paul contradicting jesus by adding another exception. All cleared up by saying no reasons for divorce and rummage given
