The reason her hair looked so frizzy was because she was dry brushing her naturally wavy/curly hair. I bet if she learned how to properly take care of it she would've love her hair. There was really no need to cut it and straighten it, just learning how to care for it.

I agree with both of you. Natural curly hair is definitely beautiful but it's a LOT of hard work to maintain as a daily hairstyle. I have naturally pretty curly hair and honestly it's just much easier to straighten it most of the time. I'm sure she'd look good either way

Change is good, if you are nervous do some reasearch first on the salon and the stylists. A good hair stylist will take multiple factors into account like your hair type, length, current color, texture, face shape, skin color, skin undertone and eye color. If you want to do something different, spend more the first time and get a really good cut and color. Also you can always keep some length but get layers put in to cut off the dead ends and lighten the weight of your hair plus it will give you a style. I know it's unsolicited but I hope it may help you if you do decide for a change. You can find nice comfortable fitting clothes that aren't super baggy.

Instead of short bangs you can always do longer bangs that start at your scalp and end just under your chin. Just practice thr CURLY method! I bet your curly hair will look more amazing and less frizzy. Use shampoos/conditioners that doesn't have sulfates and silicones. Squish the conditioner on it to enhance the curls. No need to straighten it up. We should embrace our hairs the way it is.

Why did they create a whole different persona? It’s literally the same look for every single “make over”. They give them the same “Karen took the kids” hair cut and the same “Debby is sleeping with the boss but has 4 kids, one is in the army, and her husband is always flying to business meetings” type of clothes.
