If you actually go through privacy policies, those are the rules to protect the user. Basically, even if it’s a free app, if you’re tracking using google analytics and such, the privacy laws require you to not tag any personal information to the data you are collecting. So I understand that you want to remarked to purchased students, but that remarketing should be handled by the system where the system or yourself or admins cannot track the purchased users personal details. Say Anna buys your course, you or your app can collect any data related to Anna but the identifier should protect Anna. You must not be able to figure out personal details of your tracked user. That’s evasion of privacy according to the laws. You probably know this now

I have made an ios app for a website which is a news website showing various articles. I made it using web viewer and added two bottom navigations and submitted to apple store but they rejected it saying it is showing white screen because of website loading time… So I added an arrangement with loading animation and set the web viewer invisible for 7-10 seconds till it loads completely and then hides the loading arrangement and set visible to web viewer… but still, they are saying now that the app has minimum functionality I have 3 apps with the same things which are rejected… I used thunkable X version to make this app Design - Minimum Functionality Your app provides a limited user experience as it is not sufficiently different from a mobile browsing experience. As such, the experience it provides is similar to the general experience of using Safari. Including iOS features such as push notifications, Core Location, and sharing do not provide a robust enough experience to be appropriate for the App Store. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise your app to provide more robust user experience by including additional native iOS functionality. If you cannot - or choose not to - revise your app to be in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines, you may wish to build an HTML5 web app instead. You can distribute web apps directly on your web site; the App Store does not accept or distribute web apps. Does the web-site server have APIs to get the news, articles etc? If so, you should use its APIs and display news through parsing the JSON and add additional functionality like saving favorite articles, adding comments etc.

Equilibrium Corp. Because of many of my experiences of dealing with Apple’s corruption, even using the FBI to send me to 5 years in federal prison for violating a copyright of Apple, that did not even exist, because Apple stole the code from Xerox, who is still suing Apple over it. My $40K attorney sold me out, but I got myself out after only 2 years. After filing my own briefs, proving that I was not guilty of the charges, the judge ended up apologizing, but the government kept the $4.7M, my airplane, etc. that they stole from me, saying that I had passed the time limit to apply to get it back. I have also been designing databases using Apple’s Filemaker database, since the early 80s when it was designed by Dan Chadwick of Nashoba Systems Corp, who sold it to Apple, and have had programmer friends who work for Apple tell me about a lot of their corruption. The most recent corruption of Apple was them getting caught blaming the battery for the drastic speed reduction after the latest OS for the iPhone 5, when Samsung and other companies use the same lithium batteries, with no problems. In the end they offered to replace the batteries for their customers for about 30 bucks, but did not increase the speed. In fact the battery they put in almost died in less than 2 years. The bottom line is that if they can’t use the government to get rid of their competition the competition might be found dead in a ditch. My attorney told me a lot about what they do, though I don’t trust much of what he said. He even ended up getting caught for being involved with a child molestation internet sting operation, and has only been disbarred. In my case the head of the FBI in charge of my case, stopped me in the hallway after my sentencing, and told me that I did not deserve what was happening, and he wished there was something that he could do.

My app got rejected because i had google signin and they wanted apple signin to. Next time it got rejected because i had apple signin and google signin both and not a skip login button. So I had a very similar experience. They are so 'userfriendly' and all but at what cost. The developers don't even get real feedback. They just plainly send a point of their guidelines and don't point out where exactly it is violated. They have a total monopoly. Then we thought about publishing it outside the App Store. Turns out you can't unless you have a small app with an enterprise 100$ or more extra account. This is in every way insane. They should be sued by some organization looking into this.

Great video! I'm struggling with an app review currently, because of the damn in-app-purchase API. I made an app that requires a credit card in a sign-up form, using PayPal to process that payment. But they won't accept my app since I'm using PayPal and not in-app purchase API. Is there any way to upload the app using PayPal? Please help!

​@@kishanbharda9501 You can make something simlar to Netflix or Spotity. Your app shoud be free, so they don't fuck around about in-app-purchase. In your app you can't have anything that say "register", "purchase" or redirect the user for another payment method. Your app should only have a login screen with logo, username and password. Plain and simple. The external payment process have be done on your website, whatever you like to be, but you can't, in any case, "talk" about this in your app or else it'll be rejected. The fuck up part about it, is if your user don't already know your service, they will be totally lost, coz redirect them to another place is against their rules. Your user just have to figure out by himself how to do it. It's fucking stupid. I've manage to get a app released doing this, but it was unbelivebly annoying. Just open Netflix or Spotity and copy their process. I bet they leaving apple payment was a HUUUUUGE loss, HUUUUUUGE. But fuck them, right? 30% is bullshit.

Holy crap dude.... That sounds like a total nightmare. I've been prepping my smart phone game for release on the iPhone. I've already released it on Android and, like you said, the process with Android is simple, straightforward and stress-free. When I began working on setting up the iPhone version, it's been absolutely horrendous so far. Aside from the $100 fee I had to pay for a one-year developer license, I also had to pay $250 for a refurbished iPhone 6S to test on (albeit, that's not Apple's fault). Besides THOSE expenses, I also had to take like over a month of prepping an environment to compile iOS apps on, simply because XCode isn't available on Windows and I don't have any Mac systems at my house. So that meant that I would've had to _physically buy an entire new computer_ just so I can distribute my app on iOS. What a joke. Luckily for my situation though, it just so happened that I actually had bought an older MacBook on eBay for parts some time ago, for like 60 bucks, and I was able to revive it for this project. So I struck gold there. But after that got situated, I then had to figure out the whole keychain, certificates and provisioning bullshit (I still don't even have that fully solved). I actually managed to get a playable build of my game running on that iPhone 6S, and I'm FINALLY getting to the point where I can make adjustments to the game for the iOS version. ...... And I haven't even gone through the review process yet........ :P

I too had experience in Windows Phone 10 app store. It was an app built build using Microsoft's Own "Windows App Studio" online then automatically published on the store and became live within a day since it was published using microsoft's own tools and with free publisher account for indies for 1 year, life was fine for 1 year. After a year they Microsoft App Store Approval staff showed their true color by unpublishing the app and giving excuses why it needs to be changed. It was the perfect time Microsoft officially killed windows phone 10 in 2017 and I didnt renew the developer license saving my $99 at both times.. God only saved me from this ;)

Hitesh you are only criticising apple review process, Apple has very strong guidelines so that you can push good quality app, Android is lacking but gradually they are also start following apple. User’s personal data you can not transfer to third party, see HIPPA guidelines.

I hate Apple. Just to get an Apple developer account it took more than a month. They and their stupid excuses. Getting our app to the Playstore was like just a couple of hours process and a week for review. And then you are done. This video was made in 2017 and they are still the same.

For Christ sake, is so paintfull when i have to deal with Apple things. I did 4 apps for iPhone and more than 10 for Android just because not worth some times do all that submitting process. Google is much better dealing with developers, have more support and, even with all this Androids versions out there, is so much easier to create things because Google has this legacy code that provide support even when you create something for olders devices. Apple doesn't give a f-ck about developers and the community. They can decide tomorrow to remove some new feature that they just put on the current IOS version and, just like that, your app not gonna make to the end of the proccess until you go all the way back and remove some code or make some changes. To be honest i always have a feeling that Apple dont want to allow news apps on App Store. They just want to put their own apps and some of the most popular to shine. RIP Apple.
