The actress playing Lucy did not do her justice at all. Sure the hair fit, but Lucy was younger and much more beautiful than this actress playing her. Granted Lucy was 6 years older than Desi, but in this movie she is portrayed as looking 15 or so years older. Maurice was good casting, at least looks wise.

I don't think Maurice look nor acted like Desi also the scene from Lucy thinks Ricky is trying to kill her where she is doing that scene where she is trying to move around doesn't look at all the way Lucille Ball did and Maurices's reaction is nothing like the way Desi portrayed it. This movie didn't portray the characters well at all.

@@dreamriver1979 His accent was so bad it made me cringe. I couldn't make it to the end of the film it was so bad. "Being the Ricardos" is so much better even though Kidman doesn't really look like Lucille. Much much better.

Never saw this exact movie. Watched the TV movie, "Lucy." Fisher looks like Lucille Ball. Thought that when viewing 'Titanic.' Better actress than other biopic.

Their Relationship must have been a Difficult one Desi Arnez must have been a Difficult Husband Father to his kids and what ever happened between them must have been difficult but from what they said when Desi Arnez had cancer and was dying she truly cared for him till he passed away

They truly loved each other till the day they died but just couldn't live together for various reasons..his mucho culture regarding using women and mistreating them as in betraying his wife/family. What if thing had been turned around and Lucy was the villain of the piece? Also Lucy said Desi would get drunk and the cops would bring him home. Eventually they just threw him on the lawn. Lucy said it became to embarrassing.

This movie is 30 years old. Frances Fisher is 69 years old today and would be too old to play Lucy.

The movie Lucy is so much better than this the Maurice doesn't even sound like Desi and that lady looks nothing like Lucille Ball she looks more like the Bride of Frankenstein her acting andf everything about the way they were portrayed is so way off if you want to see an actual portrayal of Lucy and Desi you should watch the movie Lucy it is on youtube as well
