Sounds like it’s a solid tent, if I ever find myself in the market I’ll take ur advice on it. Keep on keepin on buddy!

I've been considering an F-250 and truck camper, but it's a *LOT* of weight, and expense. It is like riding around carrying a small house with you though, but who really wants to carry a house? This tent looks like a great setup.

Noticed your running the alucab tent now..? Any pros/cons on the wedge, triangle style vs 360 RTT?

get an attachment for a battery drill and you will have it up in a few seconds.
@andrewberzins7522 жыл бұрын
Bit surprised you ditched it due to the height, not really a center of gravity issue as it's not that heavy. I have a heavy discovery 4 which is tall and heavy, so I'm a bit puzzled.

Hey Richie, use an cordless drill to drop the top and raise. Just a thought.

bad idea for two reasons it could tear stitching and it WILL destroy handle setscrew ALUMINIUM my dear boy.

I have the Maggiolina Airlander plus in size S but in x-Long. This roof top tent is amazing. I had an cheaper one from Horn Tools before (same mechanism Like the airlander), but the italian tent from Autohome is way better…
@21musicspeaks4 жыл бұрын
Hi two questions - what kind of rack did you use to mount it and did you consider the Airtop? I just put a deposit on the Grand Tour 360°, but now I’m wondering if I should’ve considered the Airtop. Thanks!

It was too tall as in it would hit stuff, or too much wind resistance?
@matteoborsaro88505 жыл бұрын
Super video. If you remove the mattress is possible use it to store more stuff? Like snowboard or bags?

easily its big without matttress, its 12in tall inside.

Nice review! Thx. I'd use a rechargeable drill to crank tent up/down and add a bungee style chord at midsection to cinch tent sidewalls when closing clam shell. Overall seems like a good buy. Does it come with dual layer 4 season sidewalls?
@jailbreakoverlander2 жыл бұрын
i did that and stripped the auger bolt out. dont recommend doing it.

Hi Very good review. I just realized there doesn't seem to be a zipper at the bottom of the doors. Do i see correctly? I live in mosquito country...i wonder if that could be an issue. Let me know what you think. And...Thank you :-)

Hey Rich I say this in all my comments I am from the Boston area as well I am a third gen 4Runner owner my rig is not to the level of your Land cruiser but it is definitely capable and equipped I am in the market for a rooftop tent right now and this is the exact tent I am looking to get. I think the hard exterior is superior to the normal pop-up tents you see. I appreciate all the videos you make you're an inspiration man do you have an email address that I could reach you at with some questions? I'm from Boston but I live in the White mountains of New Hampshire now I hear that you come to NH every now and then I would absolutely love to meet up and hit the trails man

fine, they are light enough to move on and off, a lot of people do it.

Maggiolina price utter nonsense, 1000 euro TOP TOP Chinese Jetout with German material thats a street overpriced price. This shit should cost 300 -500 euro. They don't know how to fool you so they will tell you YKK zippers you will get for 4000 euro, and an aluminum ladder. And. "hand made" lol like Chinese using robots to make a tent
