Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme have a different scent development during both hot and cold weather. During the hot weather , the fresher notes such as mint, orange and pepper is more prominent while in the cold weather, pepper, tonka beans and mint is more prominent creating a cookies and creams vibe to me. Performance is 12hrs+ with 2hrs of projection in the winter with the lubrication of unscented body butter while in the spring, 8hrs of longevity with 1hrs of projection Try Edition Blanche in the winter btw as it’s a lemon meringue pie smelling to me while in the summer it’s a citrusy smelling fragrance

The Ethmiester : Good Question! Both Eau Extreme and Edition Blanche have an Eau De Toilette and Eau De Parfum concentration. The EDT of both is sharper while retaining the smoothness in the drydown. I’m currently using both the EDT as a backup and EDP concentration currently

There are two concentrations, EDT and EDP. I own the EDP and get 8 hrs longevity. Chanel AHSEE smells better in the air then on skin and leaves a beautiful scent trail. Compliment magnet!

I actually rate the original better. Eau Extreme is sweeter, while the original is a nice “lemon face-wipe” sort of a scent. The original also lasts longer. It’s also 40% cheaper for 100ml.

I have the Eau De Parfum version and it's above average longevity (7 to 8 hours longevity) and the projection is strong for about 2 hours. Perhaps the EDP is the way to go.

It was first "Eau de Toilette Concentrée", later on changed to "Eau de Parfum". Regarding to Chanel, the juice is untouched, it was just labeled differently because Bleu de Chanel EdT is less strong and they needed to differentiate it more to this one. This is a good example, that human percept stuff differently when they "seem to know" something's changed, even if it's not. Like, a double wrong blind test. ;P Because Jeremy thought it is weaker because he thinks it's the reformulated one, even tho he actually has the original first formulation!! :D But in the end, each to his own opinion! Fantastic fragrance & my signature scent. The downsides might be the price and the performance (sillage is huge, but longevity leaves something to be desired), but I would argue that the high(er) price is actually one of its strengths too: fewer people reach for it. In the 5 years that I've worn this fragrance, I've only ever smelt this on another guy ONCE. That's why I prefer this over Sauvage, for example. With regards to the performance, I always carry a 5ML Travel Spray so that's negligible.

Buddy, the Allure homme sport eau extreme original when just came out was EDT and was beast!!! lasted more than 10 hours and proyection was great for first 4 hours!!!. A few years later, Chanel only produced it as EDP but got weaker proyection and even longevity, and now you got one bottle that says EDT and you said is not the greatest perfomrance? Maybe Chanel reformulated. I still have an EDP 150ml bottle but it performs well, not as the OG EDT but last long time sometimes more than 8 hours and I have realized people can smell you specially when you pass by, even after several hours even when you can not smell it at all

Sir if you have the eau de toilette concentree version what you actually have is the Willy Wonka golden ticket in terms of rarity and longevity for this scent. The “EDTC” version of AHSEE techincally is the older formulation BUT given its price and no real mass buzz of the scent, you can still find bottles of the EDTC at your local Macys/______ store every now and then.... EDTC is the longer lasting one while the “newer” EDP version is more creamy and dense one I’ve owned both versions multiple times (6 bottles 4 EDP - 2 EDTC) The EDP last around 5 - 8 hours with 1-2 hours of trailing sillage whereas the EDTC 5-8+ decent sillage throughout I’ve gotten WAY more compliments with the EDP but I enjoy both versions Cheers Jeremy! That’s just to ME + my chemistry + my quirk where I can easily go nose blind to semi heavy scents. Light blue intense is nice for summer…WOULDNT wear it in the winter especially not outdoors The great equalizer is at work (static climate control work environment)

@@r.k862 given that my original comment is 2 years, I don’t think you can find any old EDTC Bottles anymore. Do with the EDP. Take a woman with you and spray your arm, have her smell it. If she doesn’t like it, cool but if she likes it she’ll LOVE IT

Perry Ellis 360 Red smells nothing like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. It smells like Armani Acqua De Gio. There actually are NOT that many alternatives to CAHSEE. And the performance isn't as bad as Jeremy is saying here. Lasts well over one hour. I consider CAHSEE one of THE best all around men's fragrances. All seasons, all occasions. Jeremy thinks ADG Profumo is the best, but I disagree; I think it's THIS one. Anyway, thanks for the video!

I guess most of fragrances smell pretty much dissimilar whether you spray it on your skin or on your garments let aside the first minutes you're wearing them....Whatever it is, I like better spraying on my shirt or my tuxedo albeit I've been told that in our days perfumes are totally unharmful for our skin. Is that true ? Can we trust the current safety standards about cosmetics overall talking ?

I have the 2020 Batch of AHSEE, it is called edp. I'm not that happy with the perfomance. Versace Pour Homme performs better at half of the price.

@@mlinger18 on my skin and Shirt it lasts 5-6 hours and the projection is beastmode for the first 2 hours. Spray it on a friend and you'll notice it a long time

@@yd6544 thats crazy ..i had a bottle 10 years ago it was a little stronger but i bought another one a few years ago from macys in the mall and its smell is gone so quick

@@mlinger18 my bottle is from 2020. I sprayed it on a friend and I was able to notice the scent for 2-3 hours even from more than 1m distance. Better than most of my fresh type of scents. Longevity is not as good as Dylan Blue, Sauvage oder Club de Nuit Intense, but projection is better

Noooo way. I got told the exact difference like a lot of people told me that the eu de extreme smells like a citrusy toilette cleaner. I do know that there are no lemon in the extreme but it somehow smells like that maybe because of fresh mint and fruity orange combo? However I bought now the Edition Blanche because a lot of people say it smells like lemon pie. I mean thats more the kind of thing I would rather like to smell

Jeremy I will have to disagree with you here for the first time. I think the performance is subjective and depends on the individual. On me, this is one of the best fragrance I have. It performs well so well on me and i really enjoy it. longetivity is above 8 hours and still performs. Actually I just got my second bottle to replace the first one i got 4 years ago after watching your video and others reviews. I actually like this more than the blue de channel edt
