@@MackABD In my opinion it also depends on who its on, obviously, but the dry down for me is very nice. It's probably my favorite fragrance so far. I usually only spend around ~$150 for my fragrances though.

Must be skin chemistry cuz I get about 6-8 hours on my skin n it’s one of my most complimented out of my collection of about 60 bottles

Explorer lasts on my clothes even after I wash them. Not sure what batch I have, but my experience certainly differs from yours. Cheers! 🦉

Literally the only review that claim better performance with Aventus. I can’t smell Aventus after 30 mins. Once I put in Explorer at 9am and people complimented be on it at 6pm at my sons baseball game

I’ve literally gotten compliments 6 1/2 hours into Explorer…. I have an original 2019 batch not sure if that makes a difference or not.

If you need to spray again after 3 hours then go ahead, you can afford it since Mont Blanc Explorer is much less expensive than Creed. I will forever LOVE LOVE LOVE Mont Blanc Explorer! One of the best!

When I got it I didn't even know of Aventus or any niche perfume. It's a nice, safe, versatile fragrance. Yes, it doesn't last long but it's not that bad compared to some popular freshies. Besides, it's relatively cheap so you can overspray it, put it on clothes etc and make its performance more than decent. I have gotten compliments, although indeed in the first hour. The other thing I noticed is that it gets me the most compliments...from guys. That's very likeable among men. I'd suggest wearing it to an interview, in the classroom, in the office, where other men you want to make a good impression on will smell it. It's not a lady killer though, perhaps because it's not strong. I mean Sauvage is strong for example. Or Y EDP. Fragrances that bring female attention. Overall Explorer is among the best value for money in my collection and it made me not want Aventus. I mean spend hundreds of dollars to smell like a cheap fragrance just to get better performance? I'm not interested.

Just found you in my recommended, liking the content. LEEETTSS GOOOO! Though I can’t disagree with you more about the performance. Unless the fragrance has been reformulated, I wear this to the gym for grueling 2 hr plus workouts and come out smelling and protecting strongly. That being said not everybody’s skin chem is the same or they could have as stated reformulated. This is not nor never claimed to be a clone, it might have been inspired by, but I think in the fragrance community if you smell citrus pineapple of the jump your automatically being brought to Aventus to to that heavy citrus opening. While similar like many inspired by fragrances, some inspired by their own called flankers, this a fantastic scent and all men should have this in their collection and when asked proudly say that it is Mont Blanc Explorer. To me the best from this company.

Explorer is in fact a compliment monster. For anyone concerned about the longevity, you can simply over spray without fear as this fragrance will never offend anyone. I slap on 15-20 sprays, (depending on whether or not I'm outdoors) and have no issues with longevity. Grab this one and don't look back 👍

@jordanortiz050 It does not smell cheap at all. It's about 85%-90% like Creed Aventus. One of my most complimented fragrances (I have over 70).

@@jordanortiz050explorer isn’t a gym scent. It’s more of a professional office scent. If you want something to the gym, get Montblanc Starwalker or Versace man eau fraiche

Let me be honest. I went in looking for Jet black intense (Michael Malul) which I have the travel spray. Convinced that was my new scent. Tried somethings & the guy pulled this out. Waited 15 min. to see the dry down notes & explorer is the winner. I keep the Jet black intense in my gym bag to freshen up. 💯

A swedish reviewer called fragrance room did a street battle with a 4 dollar Axe body spray vs Creed Aventus...Axe got 9 votes and Aventus got 11. You have to see that haha.

Love this scent, super versatile and good for any age imo. The ambroxan in this isn't cloying and not too offensive (I hear batches perform different)

I get decent perfomance, works best in the heat. If you can't smell it, blow warm air where you sprayed it and you will smell it.

Easily signature scent worth and spray on clothes it’ll last a lot longer. You can literally wear explorer every single day day or night for the entire year and literally wear it for any occasion you could possibly think of.

Why do these reviewers go out to get comments on a fragrance with paper strips? A fragrance is supposed to be applied to your skin where it releases its ingredients from the body heat. Put it on your waist next time and ask the ladies what they think.

Every review I see on explorer is so wrong lol. I get tons of compliments on explorer hours and hours after I’ve used it. It stays on all my hoodies until I wash them and the scent builds a while after being sprayed. I’d never ask someone to smell it on a strip though it’s way better on skin

Creed Aventus used to be my jam, but lately, that magic is gone. There are better houses that you get your money's worth. The 2013-2015 days of Creed are gone. And I remember those days where I would get non stop compliments. Nowadays when I wear Creed, it just doesn't feel the same. That magic is gone. I don't know what happened or why they can't make it the way they used to. Personally I enjoy Aventus Cologne.

They had to reformulate. Alot of old ingredients from OG 2015 batch (the best one) and earliar are now illegal. I stopped buying it as well why take a gamble on 400 when you may get an awful black smoky headache inducing scent

Personally Aventus is not worth the buy anymore because of the many reformalations and the poor performance from the current batches. Not to mention the price as well.
