I just unboxed my carbon X11 2000, when the anti reverse is on and I open the bail, I cannot reel forward and close the bail, it just locks up....is this correct?

FYI The bail on any spinning reel is meant to be closed manually. The two don'ts for any spinning reel: Don't turn the handle when the bail is open (and don't turn the handle when the fish is pulling drag)

You need to take a washer out its not spooling enough line on top of spool.

I got a bad one (Carbon X) so they replaced it and the replacement is bad too.. I requested a full refund..

I’m surprised that happened to you, what was wrong with it?

@InlineOutdoors When there is any type of load on the line, it's like 5 times harder to reel in.. For example, when I put a 1oz jig on (for walleye jigging), it's about the same tension as reeling in a 5oz sinker.. I have many different brand reels and none of them do this, not even my kids cheap $15 Shimano.. It reels in fine with no load on the line.
