I had lost everything you can imagine, as I was lying in a jail cell, going through a hard detox from booze, zanex bars, oxycodone, diaudid, you get the picture,at 46 and worn out, blisters on all my fingers from cigarettes burning down and me to numb to notice, looking at a long stent in prison before me I was done, after two months in there I was able to start eating food and soon after I got a pair of reading glasses from another inmate, so I picked up a Bible for the first time, well that was ten years ago and Im still in Gods word every day, what happened to me was I prayed the sinners prayer and meant it, Gods Holy Spirit came to me and changed my heart and Im a new person now, married and happy, Iv'e seen this happen to many others, God is faithful, and If you ask him, he will do the same for anyone. But you must also know that the world is the same rough place and its only getting harder for Christians, but you will now have made peace with God and so your no longer all alone, and you can make it through any storm by Gods grace through you faith in Jesus Christ.

Yeah I had same problem when I stop sinning and tried hard to be good for God, all kinds of people and situations came to kick me , but tells me be strong and courageous, get back up again. The lord jesus christ is with us, it is God's strength not my own. I messed up badly but I said lord jesus what is this, but finally I think I hear God answer greater is he that is in us jesus christ, than he that's in the world. I couldn't beat the situation until I say the battle is the lord's and all I must do is obey him ,I can do all things in christ jesus who strengthens me philippians 4,13.
