@@beforeyougotravel I am Vietnamese and yes, the lady you referenced is pronouncing it correctly. You need to adjust the way you say “quốc, it is in the back of your throat. Your pronunciation is more at the front of the mouth therefore changing how it sounds and therefore it’s meaning. Vietnamese is EXTREMELY tonal. One pitch can change the meaning of the word all together. Thank you for posting this video. Extremely informative.

There is nothing to see on PHQ . Stay away. Leave this gem to the locals and long term dwellers 😑 ( the turtles ain’t to be found there - wrong clip / info ) I am however happy you didn’t reveal the real #1 thing to do on the island.🤐
