"Paperbag-kun is in Love" is such a cute series! Its always on my physical wishlist! I hope it gets published too! ❤ Another one that I always want published is "Toorigakari ni one point advice shiteiku type no yankee" (in English its something like "One Point Advice from a Yankee") its by the same mangaka who does "my stepmother and stepsisters aren't so wicked". It definitely fits the wholesome misunderstood guy who looks like a delinquent. Love it so much!

Oooo lotta fun picks! The lingerie one seems really cute, if not Kodansha maybe Seven Seas can put it in their Steamship label? Im glad you brought up Gyomei-kun because i forgot about it but it looked really fun with the retro Rumiko Takahashi esque artstyle it has. (its a Gangan Joker series so i assume Square Enix will pick it up) Dont have much specific wishes for Anime NYC licenses, i just hope to see some more Shoujo from Yen Press and Seven Seas since theyve been doing good so far this year. (Seven Seas also hasnt done a con panel in a while, maybe they have something big?) Heres hoping at least one of these gets licensed!!

It really does, and that's such a good point!!! I didn't even think about that!! I was SO bummed that Gyomei-kun didn't get in the Top 20 for the Next Manga Awards! I was hoping it would do super well and then would be more of a "guarantee" to get it in English by Square Enix! 😭 I realize I am super late responding but I am very thankful that Yen Press and Seven Seas both delivered with their shoujosei licenses!! I'm still shocked we are getting an OOP manga as a collector's edition! WOW! And while I didn't list it in my top 5, I thankfully did get one license win!! I hope you did too! 🥹🥹🥹

The manga that I would really love a physical English release for is Strawberry Love. It's the only romance-focused manga that I love so far thanks to you recommending and gushing over it in one of your earlier videos :)

Okay I had to go look them up and oh my goodness I have heard of Kiyo in Kyoto!! I've really wanted to read that one since I've heard the anime is so good!! The art for Champignon no Majo is STUNNING!! Also apparently I bought chapter one of Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare for free on Amazon a while back, so I need to try it!!
