Can I make a suggestion about your pond? ... Have you ever thought of planting Reeds ( Cat Tails ) or Water Lilies ect. to help with the eco system of the pond?...Plants help put oxygen into the water and other things to help the pond maintain itself... I learned this from having Gold Fish ponds..... BTW... You guys are awesome !!!! ( in sooo many ways :o)

I agree, but because they made the video of getting the chicks and girl chicken for the rooster without complaints, it opened the gate so to say for other geese and ducks and animals to be sent or dropped off.. I guess, maybe you guys should say, don't send animals to the sanctuary without first discussing it with the sanctuary That is just common sense to me but again because other packages have been sent and accepted it just looked like you guys were welcome to them Thanks for clarifying your needs, and the process that needs to be followed before any animals start a journey to the farm Love you guys!!

Ok I'm the idiot who sent the ducks, geese, and Nates Joan. I have asked forgiveness from Lester and Jami. I just didn't send the animals I made sure they would not have to pay for feed. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MORE LIVE ANIMALS. I was inconsiderate . FYI the chicks that came last week we're all females. The ducks are all females. The geese are male and female of the same type of geese. By the way the geese were for a early birthday gift for Lester. I've always thought it is totally inappropriate to gift animals to others. My step daughter brought home a chicken once as a present for her dad. We weren't wanting anymore chickens and especially not that breed of chicken. It turned out she was a he, and he brought disease with him. He got very sick and made the others ill as well. A disaster all round.

I can sympathize. I used to run a rescue for Creepy Critters. Large snakes, lizards, tarantulas and scorpions. The "cool" impulse pets that quickly outgrew the owners expectations. I'd get home from work and find things like a baby yellow Anaconda or a Goliath bird eating spider someone had dropped off. While I appreciated that I was trusted with their care I was usually unprepared for a new addition. I would never turn an animal away but a heads up and some discussion goes a long way.

Even with a new pond you need water and right now (mid April) there's less rain expected. Plus I think the females were to lessen the burden on Ice Queen. They are beautiful and a kind gesture, but please no more babies folks. Good Luck Lester and Jami!

Good morning Lester and Jami. Wow 😲 I'm surprised 😯 that all the gosling and baby ducks were all still alive since they are just a day old. They look a lot older than a day old, but I don't have any feathered babies to compare them to so I'm not sure if it's them or my perception of how they should look 😊🤔How many ducks and geese will the pond in the littles pasture support without them hurting the quality of the water? I know that there's a ratio for that I just don't know what it is 🤔 and I'm just curious 🤗 Hopefully the new babies will help with the male to female ratio of the feathered babies if they are the right breeds to match up with your older ones already there 😍🥰😍🥰 Much love to you all from Arkansas.

Awww I wish you well on your new Journey ahead! My Daddy has been directing school traffic for well over 20yrs! He is employed by the Fairview TN Police Dept. He only works in the Morning shift and afternoon shift. He absolutely loves what he dose ❤ & the kids adore him so do the teachers & People who drive Hwy 100. He has made so many people smile with his smile every morning & Afternoon. His main job is to let the buses in & out. My Dad is only 83yrs old. He is definitely a town icon💟

Doug was giving females to help balance out the ratio. Too many males can "wear out" the few or only female. It was a great thing to do. Hopefully all will get along and of course another pond will be nice for feathers, bigs and littles. Those feathers are already sweet! They loved being handled by Jami! They sure are cute! I have always thought that. People need to smarten up when it comes to just dropping live beings off. Not cool. They could be gone for a day or two people. That was really sweet to think about tbe babies needing girls, but they aldeady are at max now. That was sweet though. Journey has new playmates now she is like mother duck or old moother goose. Build them a raised cooper with a ramp, and teach them to go in at night. If u do it consistently and close them in, u will lose less to predators. Good luck!! You guys are right, you have a very very large following, I follow Little Bucket Farms Sanctuary & they are awesome people too, a video posted 5 days ago has 141 views, 13 comments, they have been around awhile, your videos in day one right now over 14k views and over 200 comments & will climb fast!! So yes huge support which is a blessing but then a curse too when people do something like dropping off or sending animals, crazy not to organize that with Lester & Jamie! 😯 Lots of love to you & furrbabies tho🤗❤🙏

As you are putting in a new pond might I suggest that you make it accessible to the horses as it would be great for their joints and muscles and also to cool them off in really hot weather ! It would just need a shallow gradient like on a beach!

I know Jami is in pure Heaven with all those feathered babies! Don’t feel bad about telling people to stop bringing live animals, y’all can only do so much at once. Plus, I know it’s hard for y’all to say no and not help or take in an animal that needs a good home. That one baby with the feather was so cute and Lester’s narration was hilarious! Can’t wait so see the news pond. Hopefully, after it’s done, you’ll get the rain needed to keep both ponds full. Last summer was a doozy for y’all trying to keep everyone cool and hydrated.
