top class. ultra clean topology. very methodical steps. no confusion whatsoever. Oscar winning for showing so beautifully without any arcane or intractable processes. Standing ovation. You deserve it as I watch from time to time all the subd modeling tutorials out there. those who watch your tutorials are lucky. they must apply what you teach for yours are the cleanest methods to approach a model. i have been watching your tuts from day one and i have seen you master your craft. i really know. i know how you approached things initially and i knew right then you will master the craft just because of your clean approach to modeling things. i know your selection of tools and why you click what you click deeply. lucky are those who get to learn from you.

I’m tryna do this and I’m 9:00 in but when Im making the seat and go in symmetry clamp point on axis don’t show and neither does the the delete polygon on axis I’ve had to do so much difference stuff for these past 9 mins as well as cinema 4D has changed so much
@1xzoroo11 ай бұрын
I messaged on Instagram if it’s easier as well 👍

New symmetry object is buggy, try symmetry hub, it should work just fine.

It's just amazing! Quite simple if just repeate afte you. Will you try to make a tutorial with the modeling of real car ? Or formula 1 car ? Would be just great !

Love your videos! But "Clamp points on axis" no longer exist so I can't inset the hole to the seat like you did at 9:00. Do you have any solutions to this? I tried to use the "weld" and "cut along plane" but doesn't help.
@polygonpen Жыл бұрын
Thanks, to be honest, I am having the same problem, you can use the new symmetry system ( at the top ) instead of symmetry genarator.
@polygonpen Жыл бұрын
There is a new symmerey system, you can enable it, the icon looks like a butterfly, I have a tutorial on my channel about that.

Can you make a tutorial on scene optimization? My renders took hours to render and I don’t know what to do to make it faster… I use a Octane Render
@polygonpen2 жыл бұрын
I would like too but I am not experienced enough to make a video about that, I just render my projects with the same settings I use in my tutorials but one day, I may do it.
@lucaspellicer2 жыл бұрын
@@polygonpen but maybe not only the render settings but also the scene itself, in terms of lines and things like that...

Why you're not teaching the same on maya ? Please teach us on maya Your explanation is the best that's available on KZbin Kindly make it on Maya please
@polygonpen2 жыл бұрын
You can apply the same techniques/rules on maya as well, Subdivision Surface is a global modeling technique, same in Blender, maya, Max, only deformers may be different but the theory is the same.
