Beginner American Mah Jongg the gear supplies you need for your game

Your recommendation? What do I discard when I only need 1 card for MJ BUT the only discard in my hand likely to give opponent MJ. I run into this dilemma too often.

@@Carol-o7b8y when you need one tile and you know the discard will give someone mah jongg. You discard a different tile and break up your hand. You can’t win mah jongg second. Joker is best. However, have you been watching that person are you sure they need it. Watch were they place their picked tile and how they discard. Is there tile spaces in there racks There is lots to take into consideration. If you can’t win, a win for you is not letting anyone else win.

@@MAHJONGGCLASS ..No matter what the game, you have to be able to observe what's going on. Whether you're playing Mahjongg or cards, you need to observe and have a good memory of what's being thrown on the table by opposing players.
