I got bitched at in a group from a BA cc that runners were getting past. I thought def was unbreakable until I switched roles with an attacker and he had all runners dead before anyone else. He said to look this guide up and holy hell, somebody figured it out an efficient way. Years ago, too lol. Thank you. Elite Kandarin no longer seems so hard.

Honestly, I was heavily considering paying one of the BA leech groups to help me max my barb assault before I found your guides. Every guide I saw before gives a crazy complex explanation and it's all numbers on a screen instead of gameplay. After following this guide, I failed the first run because it was practice but now I can get to level 10 easy as hell😅

Thanks dude, will be using this later to finish Kandarin lvl 3 diary and to get a torso. I made some notes for myself, which will be easier to refer to if I happen to forget something. Here are the notes for everyone to use: BA (Defender role) - nothing in inventory - Uses melee armour with both high melee and ranged defence bonus is recommended. - Use East trap - Don't build barricades - Don't shoot blue eggs - Don't let them through - Be fast - Use Runelite to mark the tiles Job: - Lure penance runners into runner trap - Repair traps with log & hammer - Communicate to healer what poison should be used - Drop right food to lure runners - Good food (called by healer) - Bad food (forces runner to run back north, any other 2 foods) Start: - Use blue dispenser - Spot #1 Drop bad food east of cannon entrance, diagonally south-east of the big spikes - Spot #2 Run to square north of trap, place good food Wave 1 = 2, Wave 2 = 3, Wave 3+ = 4 (or just drop 4 for every wave) - Spot #3 Trail: Two blocks west of double spike area (1 bad food) - Spot #4 Main stack: North west of Northern big spike (final 4-5 good food) - Spot #5 Optional: Two steps south of northern, west crevice log (pick up log and drop 1 bad food for double runners) Wave 1-4 = 1 log, Waves 5-8 = 2, Wave 9 = 3, Wave 10 = 2 - Run back to trap while picking up hammer - Wait for trap to go to 0, then repair - Stand in spot #2 - Call new poison for healer - Stand in spot #2 and till all runners are next to you, then move - Spot #7: two steps east from trap, stay here when finished - will lure healers - OR shoot cannon, but don't shoot blue eggs

This is a really good guide. The only thing I'd say is that 30 seconds go by much quicker than you think, the Runelite plugin "Ba Minigame" is extremely helpful because there's a timer for the calls but even then, keep an eye on that. The plugin also has a setting to make the good food highlighted green which is cool. Overall, great guide, 10/10.

This is a really good guide. Was concerned about playing the role, especially at level 1, but was able to manage with little to no issues. Was able to finish my role first most of the waves I played. Only wish there was a breakdown for wave 10 but after playing the first 9 waves I had a good general idea of how I should drop food and was able to quickly finish my task.

I literally mastered defending with this guide. thank you so much. im lvl 5 in the role and still enjoy it. the only time I get mad is when people dont call quick because the very beginning of the round is the most crucial time for a defender to get set up and if they dont call it can fuck it all up.

Nice guide, got a question though. How does it work on queen wave? I got the feeling the layout is different (or are all the tiles exact the same as in the other waves?)

I meant to make a wave 10 guide for all of the roles, but I haven't gotten around to it. On wave 10, you should be placing good food on the west side of the east trap, as well as 2 good food on a small spike far north of the trap. Then grab 2 logs and a hammer, and return to the west side of the trap. Call again, and place all new good food down. You can do the same process as shown in this video, but instead of standing on the north tile, stand on the west tile, stacking runners. So sorry about the confusion!

great guide. but seriuosly you should mention that if your totally new, and if you let 1 runner through, someone is most likely gonna isnta quit. then tell everyone your trash so no 1 will elt you on the team. its almost impossible to even practice unless you have a team of friends
