Finally I feel able to learn Chinese after a term of learning from Tung and Pollard's ancient book at uni. This video is the first thing that's getting through to me. I made the stupid mistake of picking the course because I thought it would be an easy transfer over from my advanced level Japanese but didn't realise the class would use an ancient textbook and no audiovisual resources.
