Hi Jordy! Been watching your videos for awhile now, and I gotta say, you're entertaining and informative!After being injured in an auto accident last Halloween, I've been depressed and broke. Darn driver ran a red light at high speed & messed up my neck, back, and knee, so I'm now disabled. After some very frustrating attempts to carve with the cheap burrs, and even a couple of homemade carving knives, I finally got a Kutzall variety set of my own! These burrs are a game-changer immediately (especially for someone who watches your videos). My carvings went from super meh to "did I do that?"😂 I did a few practice pieces, and can't wait to do more! My carvings are nowhere near your caliber, but like you said before "I carve like I carve, and you'll carve like you carve". I especially respect the fact that you keep it real - even showing videos of your mistakes when others would reshoot them so we don't see them (or learn from them). So please remember, even if your having a bad day and things aren't going your way - YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!

Jordy, last month I purchased threw my nephew a bunch of burrs and used the 5% Carving Fusion discount but it didn’t work. Am I sad ,heck no they are very good burrs and I got them quickly.

I really like carving with the Kutzall fine grit burrs on smaller pieces. I like the control and smooth finish of the smooth burrs. I have a few more aggressive burrs but i have to be careful. You are right, the Dremel burrs do not work well for wood carving. The Kutzall burrs are a little expensive, but well worth saving for. I know you are a Kutzall guy, but have you tried the Sabertooth brand burrs? They look good too. Gordy, I have one old Dremel tool with a flex shaft. I want to get second motor. Considering a pendant motor like the Dremel Fortiflex so I can use a foot pedal. Do you have any preferences or recommendations. I am retired, so I only want to do this once maybe.

Hi there,, I have tried all burrs/bits, :) I had the foty flex, I dint like it so I sent it back, U can but a knock off dremel (tac life, WEN,) on amazon and use a foot pedal with one of them, just make sure u use the dremel flex shaft because the flex shafts that come with the knock offs are mo good, or u can never go wrong with a foredom :)

Hi Jordy I just purchased a new Dremel 4300. Are there problems with these when using it with a speed control foot pedal ? I know you did a video on this awhile ago. What was the long term outcome? Did or does it harm the Dremel? Other KZbinrs recommend a Foredom type aftermarket foot pedal with a variable speed Dremel too, but I have seen some negative stuff as well. Thanks

If you turn ur power up max on ur dremel so it does not cross witg the speed control on ur dremel u will be fine, I just use my pedal as a on and off switch now for my dremel because it seems like dremel has put some kinda blocker in there dremels now that do not alow speed controll foot pedals to work, most knock off dremels work with the speed control pedal, foredom speed control foot pedal is it best 👌

Hey all FYI Harbor Freight is having a clearance sale in its Chicago Electric Flex Shaft pendant tool. 30% off until the end of July . I just picked one up for $30.00. How bad can it be for that price. And it is supposed to take the Foredom handpieces if you need an upgrade later Gonna give it a try.
