please please please get gloves and practice in a parking lot, you might get hit at a light still learning to ride.

Raise the rpm to 2-3k before slowly letting off the clutch for now. Until you master the the friction zone. Watch your back on Public roads. Along with that, practice Slow maneuver Between 3-6 Miles Per Hour. Im glad you Started on a 400

His clutch was slipping because the cable isn't adjusted right. Telling him to master the friction zone is obtuse.

@@aluisious Got off topic, it's an obvious thing to fix. Quit making excuses, that clutch is in way better condition than my 1st bike.

Maybe go back to factory set clutch lever position. The folks that build those bikes may know a little more than your uncle. To me it seems that clutch setting has little to no time before it engages. Not how they are designed to work.

I give you props for getting out there and riding as a beginner. It looks like you're dumping the clutch when you're going from a stop, which is probably what's causing you to stall. If the clutch feels different than you're used to, just ride in a parking lot until you get used to it again. Keep at it, and I look forward to see you progressing as you ride more! Stay safe out there.

no need for Cardo - if you connect two cups with a string you can talk to each other as long as the string is in tension 😁🤡 /peace

Careful how you pick the bike up man don’t hurt your back. Put your back to the bike and squat down to use your legs to lift it with your back straight. Ride safe 🍻

Try slowly letting off the clutch while your giving throttle you’re fully releasing it too early

Nah you should NEVER ever stall. Start on a dirt bike or pit bike, learn to countersteer use foot brake and front brake clutch control weight distribution, all of that, before going on the street. Your asking to die if you don’t have the basic muscle memory

It happens to all of us, especially on the first bike. The feeling is not a good one. After it lays down, tt is hard to start because there is a cutoff switch that has to reengage, and sometimes you have to remove the key and put it back in. Keep them revs up and slow on the clutch when starting from a stand still and it will become 2nd nature. Nice, beautiful bike!!!!

Buy gloves Your clutch cable was misadjusted. Probably by the dealer you paid a fee to "set up" your bike, which they're using to make boat payments while a 17 year old in the back is getting minimum wage to go through a checklist they don't understand. No one goes through a drive through on a bike and buys a drink, unless they have one of those ridiculous touring bikes with a cupholder. Dropping your bike in a parking spot is not "wrecking a bike." That's a clickbait title.

The cable is misadjusted. This is a common problem on the Kawi 400s. His dealer paid someone to PDI the bike who doesn't know shit.
