Assuming the song is in the perspective of a girl, she seems to be really depressed from self-image/confidence problems, comparing herself to a girl and she hates herself (and her) for wanting to be like her. Thus, because she cannot be her, she stuffs herself in food to ease her depression, hence the "I gotta eat" and the "Maybe I should feel fuller until I explode . . ." in the bridge of the song. It MIGHT also be about someone she likes. There are times when the "you" pronoun is used instead of "she" (unless they're the same person). That person she likes might be the "you" pronouns mentioned in the translation, mentioned in the beginning, as someone they might be waiting from "night to morning" and the cause of her "broken heart". Perhaps it is because of the girl she's comparing herself to, she feels the need to want to be like her. A "That girl is perfect and he probably likes her and there's no way I can be like her so let me drown in food" kinda thing. Regardless, she has self-image issues and feels trapped and eases her pain through eating (perhaps "binge eating disorder"). I hope this makes sense! This is just what I interpreted from the translation. It's worth listening to the song again. It's such a lovely song.
