【Beginner】First one of the New Year! I made a rimmed coaster. DMC punch needle pen hard to find😱

The year 2024 has dawned. I hope everyone is doing well.
Japan is off to a sad start in 2024, and every day I watch the news I feel depressed...
My husband's parents live in Toyama Prefecture, and although their home was not severely damaged by the earthquake, it seems that alcohol and other items from the restaurant they manage were scattered on the floor and a TV set fell over.
Immediately after the earthquake, I was very worried because I could not get in touch with my parents, but I am relieved to hear that they are safe and sound.
I can only hope that everyone's days of good health will return as soon as possible.
This video is the first of the New Year! So to make it feel a little more like the New Year, we made a coaster with a 2024 pattern 😊.
When my husband told me this, I thought again, but it is true that the coasters I have made so far are fluffy and a little unstable because they are made of woolen yarn.
I've never had a drink overflow while using it, but it's safer to have a rim!
I didn't explain in the video, but the edge portion was set at 1cm wide 😊.
This will fit most cups.

そうなんです！DMCのこのパンチニードルを私も買おうとしたらどこも売り切れで、結局クローバーにしました😂それも枠は持ってて必要無かったけど限定カラーの白いニードルが欲しくてスターターキットのやつを買いました❗️👍🏻😂

Wouldn't it be fluffy if I cut a loop? If the yarn still feels bunched up after loop cutting, I think it will become fluffy if you stroke the surface with a delicate brush or similar 🥸✨
