Hey everyone! In todays video I’ll be showing you how to do EASY BEGINNER FRIENDLY ombré nails with dip powder! You can do any length and colors for this method of ombré! Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🥰 so I’m currently in the process of learning how to reduce the monomer odor in my house, once I get it under control I plan to do A LOT of acrylic sets with Double Dip powders!

@@KCNails that sounds great! I just got a mini air purifier & Mia’s secret monomer drops and it helps a bit. It doesn’t eliminate it, but definitely reduces it for me. I also noticed that the monomer smell on the papertowel is worse than in the dappen dish. So I remove the waste from my house altogether and that helps a ton!

Thank you so much! So currently for MY nail prep, I have a layer of nude gel polish, top coat, and peel base. I apply whatever products over this as my base layer. I do it this way because I film videos multiple times a week and don’t want to spend a long time on removal of my nail sets. If you wanted your nails to last, push your cuticles back, make sure to file/buff the shine from your natural nail (using 180 grit), then apply a dehydrator (also known as step 1 for dip powder nails, or you can also use rubbing alcohol) then you’re ready for the application ☺️

How do u use the dip base to glue on the tips?

The same way you would as regular nail tip glue! I’m not sure if I recommend it, it may not last quite as long as tip glue would.

It’s kiara sky’s cheeky gel polish with a layer of peel base over top! This allowed me to keep a gel manicure on my nails and pop off whatever set of nails I put overtop off!

Does it smell like nail polish

The dip base smells like resin (glue) and if you put it too close to your face it’ll make your eyes burn… but honestly the smell isn’t bad at all to me. Nothing even close to monomer smell.
