totally agree that the tools you talk about are brilliant at what they do and that we should aspire to having them but as a start up business these prices are way out of reach (the title does say starting up). I have recently set up and I have a 2nd hand Sovereign mower, a 2nd hand cheapo petrol strimmer, a new Honda petrol hedge trimmer and a few bosch battery tools (strimmer, hedge cutter etc.) 2nd hand wolfe garten set and a load of tools I've had for years. I'm doing ok, I will be aiming to get things more like the kit you mention as I do believe you are correct, they are quality gear, but maybe just be more realistic at the "start up" level. Sorry to moan I think your vids are excellent and hope for more to come, cheers.

That’s ok I started off with basic stuff and even when I did switch to sthil I brought second hand before I could afford to buy new Your doing it the right way everyone has to start somewhere and everyone have different budgets mine wasn’t so great to start with but I did my best with second hand stuff Really appreciate the support mate & taking the time to comment Keep up the awesome work

Great video as always. My first year and starting to get a wide range of jobs now. I invested heavily with my split shaft system, pole saw, hedge cutter and extention as well as edger and just got a cultivator for it. Smashed hours of clear up jobs. Loving the journey so far. Just need some more regular cuts for my 2nd week. Thanks to guys like you and other you tubers for these videos. Keep up the good work, 👍

This is brills, I’ve been listing and costing equipment for the past month. After massive research I’m going with the Husky cordless range and wolfgarten- but the blimmin list seems to just get longer! so it’s great to see what you feel are the most crucial tools too. I’m lucky that I’ve got my little Honda surf van to begin with, though it’s my dream vehicle so I might eventually have to invest in a trailer rather than letting it go 🤞 thanks again

good video again Pete and yes good to give the choice on van and bits of kit for anyone starting out or even people that have been going really i now try to put money aside every month to flow a budget of next van or mower or hand tool keeping the kit in good condition and up to date if the kit is all in good order that can make you more efficient and reliable and that would go into any job. all the best

Brilliant video mate, well thought out and put together. I've had this on my list of videos to do for probably about a year now so when I finally get round to doing it, I'm not copying 🤣🤣. I'm still debating whether to go for a backpack blower though. Saying that I want another mower too...🤷‍♂️

Do it mate it’s so nice to see videos from other gardeners prospective I want to do more videos like this aswell as the action ones Back pack blowers are really great especially in the winter when the leafs are coming down I use mine all year round great for a tidy up What second mower would you go for would you consider a roller mower

@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 I've no idea. I need to go somewhere and have a look at lots and get advice. But...I want one with variable speed that can mulch grass as well. Budget is probably around the £7-800.

Good video. Personally never got on with backpack blowers, even though they are far more powerful, but I find for everything I do the BG 86 is more than sufficient. Wolf tools are a must and the KM94 is a great bit of kit.

Hi Jack thanks for watching I guess only drawback with the backpack blowers is they are heavy and ache your arm after a full day of use Ordinarily I only use them all day when leaf clearing in the winter months Thanks for watching mate have a great day tomorrow bud
