@@feral5374 Isn't that what I said? What can I do to work up to this point? There must be other moves I can do to strengthen the muscles that I need to be able to do this with proper form. Or, are there props or modifications to enable me to do this with good form until I get stronger?

@@dianekmkThis is actually one of the easier exercise to work the ab region. Other require you to already have a strong core and/or stronger muscles on other parts of your body. Lifting the head is what helped me dive my lower back onto the floor and keep it there. Just starting out, so cannot maintain the exercise for long though.

My physical therapist had me doing this after my concussion. Keep your lower back pressed against the floor, that's how the effects are felt. Very effective exercise.
