Norma Gomez - I agree! She's a talented speaker and video editor. Even with so little time in my schedule, I can always make time for Rachel's videos. With realness and humor she gets straight to the point in answering the questions we all have when considering cosmetics; (of which there is such an array of products available the sheer enumerability is dizzying!) And I feel that my time is respectfully used because I benefit from her shared experiences greatly.

I'd love to see a beginner tutorial on primers. I am so lost whenever I go the drugstore looking for primers :( Why are there so many different kinds??
@bluecashewmedia7 жыл бұрын
Same its so confusing
@emilyhealy84747 жыл бұрын
Not every primer does the same thing. The most “common” one is a pore filling primer, which is supposed to help your foundation and makeup stay on longer and to give a smoother appearance on your face. Another example, a green primer is really good if you have rosacea or red spots on your face.
@emilyhealy84747 жыл бұрын
Some are more for brightening the face or hydrating the face or adding a glow before foundation. It just depends on what you’re looking for!

If you have oily skin i recommend the stay matte primer from Rimmel. You're welcome

A really nice powder that I have never heard mentioned on YT ever is the Milani Prep+Set+Go powder. You can wear it under foundation to prep or prime the skin, which is very helpful for anyone with extra oily skin, and once you're all done, it's a great translucent setting powder. It is a stark white but it doesn't show up as white. It really just sets your makeup beautifully. Also, since it's a compact powder, it is excellent for travelling. And for anyone who would like to avoid talc, this could be a great choice for you as it doesn't include any. The last really great thing is that since it's a compact powder, nothing gets airborne really and there's no mess. I have been using it for quite a while now and still love it, especially for on-the-go. :)
@DanielaPerez-xt7wo7 жыл бұрын
DaniH I use it too! Also thought it's weird that youtubers never mention it! Love it to set under eye concealer!
