Beginner Novice Show Jumping at Colorado Horse Park - Madison & Charley's Angel

Hey guys!
So this is my show jumping round from the Colorado Horse Park where Charley completed her first Beginner Novice!!!
In this round we had one rail and 2 seconds of time. The rail was completely rider error where I ran her at the fence and jumped ahead of her. This ride did not help or hurt our placing at the show leaving us to finish in 13th!
Overall, I was so pleased with how this show went! Coming into it my goal was to not get eliminated. I didn't care if we got last place or had 3 refusals, I just didn't want to be eliminated. Last fall Char & I were eliminated cross country at Area IX Championships at the elementary level (2'3") when I fell off. 8 months later we moved up a level after we had ended on a bad note at a lower level. My trainer didn't think I was ready for the show but I was determined to get around, no matter how ugly.

im not a pony person but im a horse person im an equestrian my first competition was at 5 man novice brings me back now im 15 i won 1st place please tell her to count her stride better and faster and keep training on those double oxers still did great

Wow you two look awesome! I jumped for the first time a few weeks ago! It was a really low pole, but felt good even though I was hesitant lol. Still need to work on not holding the horse back with the reins as much because of nerves. Your horse is beautiful!
