We went up to Tony Grove to check on loading from a strong winter storm. An AVALANCHE WARNING and HIGH danger in the backcountry dictated that we stay in low-angle terrain. Even so, as we skied down a low-angle ridge exit, we remotely triggered a 2-foot deep and 300-foot wide avalanche from about 50 feet away.
