I'm tryign to work up to the point where I can get my daily chromatic seal but 5k is about everything i get from the daily dungeon runs so I often skip some days in favour of saving up money for consumables

Yeah, they are very expensive.. Especially for a material that is needed in bulk for a lot of things. I hope they decrease the price!

is it possible to re roll perks on items bought using dense mutator materia? if so, how do you do it?

Go to the Gypsum Kiln and type in the item you want to upgrade. Make sure it's not in your inventory, equipped, or in a gear set. Requires a lot of materials!

i want to upgrade my stuff but armor matrix is so expensive and if i want to make them myself i have to be lvl250 at the armor station, that's insane ! i maybe miss something but i don't understand how people do this without spending 20h per day gaming to do craft !?

Indeed. 3 Chromatic seals cost 15k, and you you can only buy 1 a day...1 matrix cost 12-16k.. This is the most timegated MMO I ever ever played and I see why people are leaving in masses.

@@402outdoorzx5 Agree but New World is not like other MMO, it's the only one to stay alive for a month and then people leave, so very end game maybe but for what purpose, hard farm on a dead game no thx. They know it, look at 65 leveling was fast like everything in the game, exccept crafting at end game. It was a nice trip but im gonna play another game now ^^

Appreciate the videos! How do we know if we should be going for medium over light? As a newer player, The bonus healing and damage seems like too much of a gain to NOT be light.

Preference for DPS. Healers should only go Light.

Would be awesome if you could do one of these for pvp gearing. A lot of us play this game bc it has the best action combat pvp, and we're getting hard gated rn due to the obscene gold cost of everything. Matrixes, seals, drop of mercury. I don't mind doing a little pve / farm but If I need to spend hours every week hitting trees or rocks, or standing in front of the TP being a stock broker, yeah no thanks. =(

Yeah, it's going to be some time to get geared for PvP. I have all my named items for my PvP set but it's all gatekept by the obscene matrix, seal, and weapon perk prices. That's why on my stream and videos I always say it's going to take weeks or months to get geared..

@@baboonbanana99 Same. I got the stuff but When calculating the cost to upgrade it all its so discouraging. Gonna try flipping high liquidity items on TP since it would only take a few min between actually playing the game. If that doesn't work i'll prob lost interest pretty quick. GL to all my pvp enjoyers out there, its rough rn.

Also I should add, needing to upgrade the pve gear witth the same crazy mats and then doing it again for pvp is a hard no for me. I'm going straight to pvp gear with those mats, no way im doing it twice lol.

thank you for the video! with what im struggling rn is that some the of the artifacts for my tank are behind mutations that arent active but the other thing is that im lost what to do for pvp since idk if i should go full heavy tank, or swap to a medium bruiser or dps, rn im shit at pve and pvp LOL

Yes, you should get Azoth Crystal gear. You'll use that for the majority of your gameplay. Getting it makes doing the raid and M3s very easy

Great vids, but I don't really agree with steering new players towards Azoth Crystal gear (or any dense mutated materia gear). New players are going to be spamming m1s. A gold m1 only gives 125 materia. So you need 28 expeditions PER PIECE. Gearing up is extremely complicated in New World due to how many options there are, how rng-based much of it is, and how each build wants different perks/weights/attributes. There's definitely no way to do that properly in a 7 minute video. The pants + dubloon set is a good starting point though. That being said, the Azoth Crystal gear can drop naturally in m2s. M2s can be tough for some groups, but if you're lucky (and you are sufficiently prepared yourself) then you can farm them and maybe get lucky.

This game has the most RNG I have ever seen... It is absolutely retarded... Today I got a decent piece to drop out of a box, had the perks I need for my Ice Guard.. But the problem was Strength.. WTH does a piece of strength gear have perks for Ice Gauntlet... These developers are stupid af, I see why EVERYONE complains about them.

@ agreed. Folks, especially new players just aren’t going to be able to keep up with that. I personally think they should be about 3k but my opinions doesn’t matter. I’ve gotten to about 707 just by grinding and getting my doubloons. However, the dungeon loot kinda booty.

Farm legendary fish, you can make 1k min every 10 min or so, easy money if you don’t wanna do much

Thats easy, but ya gotta invest now, the later you grind tradeskills the more expensive it will be, im 250 armoring, i can just grind gypsum orbs for like half an hour or less, make enchanted handles/armor matrix and stack gold

What i really like about this game is that you need gear for everything you do. Wanna do dungeon you need 30 different gear and certain weapons. Wanna do m3 you need 30 different gear and weapons. Wanna do raid? Need gear. wurm? Another set gear. But thats dps you wanna be tank aswell then you need another 1000 differentgear. Pvp? 400 different gear. Farm gear mining gear .. gear gear gear . Ughhh chestrun is nice but why do i get 100000 gear drops that are not good at all. Its like salvage simulator

If you want to stick to one build I'd recommend Spear / Hatchet or Spear / Rapier. You can use that in all content

I mean I get the Whole have fun in PvP, but a lot of MMO’s just do it sloppy IMO! It needs to be more like a Souls PvP like just run any Gear&weapons and ur DPS/Survivability will mostly depend on Buffs and Movesets!! This crap they do where ppl spend 5k hrs to get Geared to the Max is just dumb and most Avg MMO dudes arnt gonna waste time like that!!
