I really thought Italy was going to feel really broken given how many gimmicks they have. However, after testing them out they feel very balanced. They are a fun civ, for sure, probably the most fun so far, in fact.

I actually think they are quite weak atm, but that might be because i havent figured them out quite yet. defenitely takes a while to get the ball rolling with italy but atleast i enjoy how they play so far.

Yeah, must say this is the MOST balanced dlc civ by far. No regrets pre-ordering. Didn't try these civs myself but played Against didn notice any strange spikes. Though italian politicians is too generous.

After the last update, I think the AOE3 developers have moved closer to the idea of increasing the fun factor of the game rather than keeping the game fully historical. I think this idea is very ideal to increase the number of countries in the game, if it will not disturb the balance of the game. If we continue with this logic, we can see countries such as Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Persia and Ethiopia in the game. I look at this idea positively as I think that more countries will make the game more fun.

The church upgrades are perfect to get cheap villagers for 75 food, i like the architect and the 1 villagers per upgrades so much.

Maltese sentinel and hospitaller needs rework. Maltese cant just compete in long treaty matches due to pop/performance ratio of sentinel and hospitaller Hospitaller need either more ranged armor or more speed or more AOE. It will be deleted by imp skirms Sentinels stats are trash. Need unique buffs.. maybe counter to skirm tag like light infantry dmg bonus. Compared to Italy their eco is bad. Either Sicilian Routes card need more food trickle or another card Someone in forum made detailed “ must do “ list for maltese that include reskin for watch towers to battery tower and act 1 campaign fort wall replaced with classic wall

This is an error, please tell the devs, It's monte DELLA pietà. Bruh... pronounce "uh-ffizzi" not FItsI only. sai that U-ffitsi rare to find mature player around this game, glad to find you. The next challenge is finding mature friends that wanna "compete" and pvp rush and stuff in rated supremacy.. hard to find in any game these days. hardcore tactical gameplay is niche

Are we playing the same game? All basilica upgrades cost something and I only start with 3 settlers. Also Medici gives 1 settler by default and 2 with the card

I think there’s been recent changes since release, the basilica is still viable to build due to the XP trickle. The Medici age up is still the go to as well 👍
