Any particular songs that you might recommend starting with? Been playing rock for years, just started tipping my toes into r&b.

You can’t go wrong with the majority of early 2000’s R&B hits. If you want to play modern R&B, check out songs from Giveon, HER, Daniel Caesar, Ella Mai, Brent Faiyaz and Sonder. I’ll be releasing a bunch of song tutorials soon so hold tight for those!

Great tips and playing. You also use 9th extensions or mainly just 7th?

7th chords are the most commonly used. However, other extensions e.g. 7th, 9th and 11th chords are all worth experimenting with
