Beginner's How-to] Authentic Ikebana of the KARIYAZAKI School

In collaboration with Shogo KARIYAZAKI, the original ikebana artist! This time, we will introduce authentic ikebana that looks great in a Japanese-style room! We had the participants arrange flowers using autumn leaves and annabelle that were in bloom in the garden. She introduced many artistic techniques, such as the technique of interlocking branches to create a foundation, and the ultimate ikebana with only two leaves and one flower. Please enjoy the wonderful ikebana that will add a splash of color to any Japanese-style room.

Who is Shogo Kariyazaki?
Shogo Kariyazaki is a flower arrangement artist and the president of Kariyazaki Flower Professional Education School.
He has been described by Akihiro Miwa as "a person with hands that produce beauty" and is well known for his delicate yet bold style and unique sense of color. He is also active in promoting the traditional Japanese culture of "Kado" (flower arrangement) in Japan and around the world.
He has been involved in numerous events, including former U.S. President Clinton's visit to Japan, the 10-year anniversary of the Emperor's reign and comprehensive production of floral arrangements, as well as Noh and Kyogen plays and stage art.
