Your videos are awesome at helping learn all I can about solar. Thank you!!

the battery balance with split phase is an overlooked thing. i have the bluetti ac300 split phase system (two inverters and eight batteries) and been using it for just over a year now. The issue i have had is in winter my furnace runs off one leg and depletes the batteries and inverter shuts down....whoosh whole system shuts down even with the second leg still having over 50% still. i would love to go with your system but at just over 10k to get a minimal 240 system i will stay with mine and see how the industry shakes out this year.

Furnace at 600w?

How long do you run the furnance without recharging the battrries? With additional batteries I would think you should be fine for at least a few days.

@@AgentOffice i have an older furnace and it draws 800w

GE Profile Combination Washer/Dryer. Keep the lint filter and the heat pump grid next to it inside the machine free of lint. Wrap one layer of Scotch 88 high temperature electrical tape around the thin plastic holder that snaps in and out to hold the thin foam element of the lint trap in place. You will greatly minimize any lint problems this way. The machine is wonderful. Put clothes in, press some touch screen buttons, come back a few hours later and your clothes are clean AND dry without transferring them to another machine. It is very water and energy stingy. Est. electric cost per year $16- 19,----- not a mistake. Water use down 50 - 66%. All electric. No gas and no vent needed. Uses standard 120V wall outlet, not 240V. Buy on holiday sales weekends for cheaper price. Never forget to dry clothes after washing again, ----- no mold, mildew, etc. WiFi app, too. Buy one and after one week you will have to dynamite your wife out of your house to get rid of her. I don't know which I like more: this GE or the Apollo.

How does this compare to the Eco Pro?

Can you give us the details on your panel setup (panel data, # of panels, how they’re hooked up etc.) plus the specs on the solar inputs of the Apollos? Thanks, and great video!

Terrific video. I definitely like what I am seeing from Hysolis. 30KWH+ of battery with the amount of solar input this system is capable of with additional Apollo's is pretty astounding. Thanks for the info!

Great video. Looks like you might be able to make good use of a wind turbine as an alternative to the solar panels. Beautiful area to live in.

What do recommend for running a 12 BTU Mini-Split AC and a frig which uses 115 volts and 3 amps & at least one or two light bulbs?

Cool Video! How are you protecting your power stations and solar panels from an emp attack? I currently have a Bluetti AC200P and was wondering if I can hook it up to my interlock switch, or is there some kind of adapter I need to buy?
@rcguymike5 ай бұрын
The low solar input is really what kills EcoFlow. Imagine 1 DPU trying to run your home and charge your 30kWh battery stack...it would take ages in good sunlight. To be fair though you can link 3 units if you add the smart home panel and that's more battery than you mentioned during minute 18. Up to 21.6kW continuous inverter power and 90kWh of battery...they should stay mostly balanced between units as well even with unbalanced solar but the hysolis system actually sharing and charging between units seems better still

If I order this setup, will the shipment be affected by the strike?

Sorry for the late reply. Everything is still shipping out but due to high volume it's taking a couple of extra days to get it out. It's in stock at PoweredPortableSolar.com/shop/

Odd question. Because they able to load share. In a 2 unit system could you run 1 system with an extra battery? I know it's unorthodox but we are planning on getting the system and want to add an extra battery every year until we got to what would be the gold system on your site.

Can you run 48V solar panels with this system? that is what my Dad put in. all the inverters and and stuff went down after 24 years. Time to do something else. the new solar panels are great. but now need to be able to use them WE are off grid for over 30 years

Do you split the solar panels into 2 strings? If not, how do the units share the solar?

flickering LEDs? What's up with that?
@UltralifeTech3 ай бұрын
It has to do with the quality of the bulb and the quality of the inverter. If the sine wave for output doesn’t match cleanly enough for the bulb, it’ll flicker

Some people splurge on trucks, tools, sports and host of other things that they don’t need or that isn’t practical. So those of us that like the peace of mind to know we’re not beholden to any municipality is how we value our purchases
