You are such an inspiring young woman. Your tutorials are so relaxed and easy going. You’ve made this outfit look so easy to do without the need for an expensive pattern. I’m 61 and have dipped in and out of dress making all my adult life without really feeling I’d nailed it. This time I’m determined to do it! Thank you for taking the time to come on KZbin and showing us how easy it is to do. Love and best wishes x

Hello there, I discovered your channel via a mention from a video that I watched on @whatbecsews. I'm super excited to make this dress and I love the fact that no pattern is required. I watched several of your videos last night and enjoyed them all. 😊 Thanks for sharing and Happy Sewing!

I love your tutorials. You give enough detail and instructions without the garments appearing too complicated for even newbies to follow. Well done. And what a beautiful nature and smile❤. I’m sure you are now extremely busy, but please keep them coming x

I absolutely love all the equipment but the little glass bottles 😍 They are seriously on my to get list especially as I find pins and safety pins everywhere and they get lost!! I have made the shirred top and the dress with long strap sleeves and love them both so easy to do thank you!!

Brogan! Once again you nailed it girl! Love this outfit... It seems like we have very very similar taste in fabric and fashion sense! So keep the DIY patterns coming ! I've made 2 shirred dresses and one top already! 😍 Idea for future vid: ....would be great to see how you would self draft armholes onto either your next top or dress make. Much love to you, Roger and bump xx🌸

Brogan this is a fantastic tutorial, you look amazing btw, as always. My question is, do you have a pattern link for the dress you are wearing in this video please, and the fabric it's made from as well, it's so pretty! Sending much love to you. Heidi x

Question. After shirring my bobbin casing would not tighten for regular thread to finish top. Did I stretch it out with elastic thread and need to get another one ?
@nickymercer43982 жыл бұрын
This is lovely, would it work with some cotton poplin from Rose & Hubble? Never done shirring before, so first time for me!!
@the_crafty_pie2 жыл бұрын
Yes definitely could use cotton! It won’t be as flowy as the viscose but will still work well xx

So do you gather the bottom tier until you have it same width as the top? 🤔
