Coach, thank you for sharing your content. The bear crawl/circling drills are awesome. I started practicing this at home with my son and daughters(10, 6, 6) years old. I could see the difference in their movent after only practicing it for a week. This is a great drill to do at home because you dont need a bunch of space so it encourages them to circle. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

This is great, thank you. Unfortunately, the head coach for my youth program really just likes the kids live wrestling but it sucks when the 4-7 year olds do not understand the fundamentals of wretling. Imma implement some of these next week. Good looking.

I want my kids to start off younger then this to give them opportunities when there older and also teach them bjj mostly for self defense I grew up bullied and don't want them to deal with that if they can hold someone down and protect with out giving any damage I'm happy with that good video!

Hi! How many hours of training per week can a 7 year old child who wants to perform in this sport do? I ask to know what is the limit over which it can reach exhaustion. Thank you!
@CreightonWrestling Жыл бұрын
Depends on the kid. At 7, I’d try to get him training 3-4 days/week for an hour.

Do the pop-ups not kill the knees?
@CreightonWrestling3 жыл бұрын
For most children it’s fine. You can always modify the exercise, only popping up and not dropping on your knees. 👍🏾
