Big up showing your early lessons bro! I'm not gonna say do this or do that, but I'll say well done for doing the three rounds, continuing to step forward and engage, and lastly for taking that liver blow. Remember watching you back in my school days, seeing your growth is unreal too so I'll be watching more of your content again 💪🏿💪🏿

I’ve only watched a couple minutes but here’s what I can point out to you straight away: For a beginner you look good so definitely keep it up Your hand positioning isn’t the best, they’re a bit low and leave openings so try and work on that. You will get away with it in sparring where the guys not trying to knock you out but in a real fight you can’t afford to have your hands low, unless you have real experience and know how to fight like that. It will leave your chin unprotected and an experienced fighter will see that and time you and most likely hurt you. If you look at your opponents hands for the first minute compared to yours, you can see how they are protecting his face much better than you are Just something to remember next time you spar, when someone is keeping both of their hands high up and is kind of chilling there doing nothing, it’s called a high guard, they want to bait you into throwing usually a jab so that they can counter with a right hand, so don’t take the bait lol
@jdotman09Ай бұрын
Another thing that you can correct pretty easily would be your stance. Notice how your opponent is more side on whereas you’re body is more square, it literally gives your opponent a bigger target to hit, whereas when you are side on there is less of a target for them to hit. I’m trying to point out some basic things that you can work on and correct easily early on so that you don’t develop bad habits as you practice more. But definitely work on hand positioning and stance👍🏽

I'm 3 months into my boxing journey and the best piece of advice I've gotten is to constantly stay moving. If your head isn't moving then your feet should be. Always stay moving and make yourself as hard to hit as possible
