These tutorials are great, but Kino makes everything look so easy. When I go to try the various poses it is way more difficult that she makes it look!

I think it's very important to stretch your hamstrings for a couple weeks/months before you try to sit in a split, because the hamstrings are so prone to injury..

I must be a beginner-beginner! No way I can even get close to the floor, not to mention all the way down. Or dowwwwwwn, lol... I need some excises on how to get flexible, in order to attempt the splits. If that makes any sense. :) Kino looks beautiful. Love her snaps, and all the cows!

i searched stretching and handstand tutorials, including from gymanctics to yoga. i have watched 25-30 of your previous videos in last 15 days. i am not interested in yoga as a lifestyle, but i have really enjoyed your way. i will use them in my Power and stretching/flexibility workouts, thanks.

I've been searching for yoga for total beginners and was hoping this was it. I say this most kindly and with all respect for feedback purposes-moves too quickly through the instruction and the progression is beyond me as a "beginner". Also, using proper anatomy terms just gets some of us lost while trying not to fall on our faces. 😆😵😖

Hi Kino, could you please make a video, or give me some tips on how to make my hamstrings more flexible? The thing that restricts my splits is my hamstrings being too tight. I need something like 20-30 mins of forward bends to manage to do the splits. Thank you very much :)

You had me at the lunge, but the next step is the splits and blanket under the pelvis. Most beginners cannot get anywhere near the floor. What mods would you recommend if getting the pelvis to the floor right after the lunge isn't possible? Is there a "better" next step for true beginners? I have been teaching lunge to Blanket sliders (blanket under the front foot off the mat) using blocks to prop the pelvis up. do you have any other modifications that would also help?

When should you do this in the practice? Should I just do some salutes to warm up and then move into this or once I've done forward bends?

I could even do surelevated splits but with my rg break I feel that I've totally lost my legs's flexibility... But I never totally stop practising sport... When I'm stretching them it hurts like I can't progress no matter what I do, and I'm not injuried... can I will do again? I'm a bit worried :/ Thanks for all your vidéos, you're gorgeous!

Take it slowly and approach it with non-attachment. The body will open and release in its own time. You can't force it.

+KinoYoga yeah because I could do. No worries I won't force anything, I know that is not a good solution. I have to train and my body will fully recover. Indeed do you have a natural flexibility or you used to work on it? thanks for your answer ^^

Today I have done the split with my right leg and it felt amazing, I can't almost believe it because I was in pain with in and I was struggling to recover my flexibility. I have finally find the right way and stretching exersises to make myself feel more comfortable and stretch really efficiently :) I can't wait to do it again, but I know I have to be patient and keep practising slowly and regularly as ever ! Namaste Kino :D
